It is extremely difficult to hear the difference between those clips...
Even if it isn't exact, you should remember that you're paying $200 for a piece of software that could somewhat accurately represent over $10k of amps and pedals.
Second drummers blast beat face was awesome.
you should all get each other a metronome for Christmas this year
I don't even know what to say regarding the second drummer
As a drummer I like your shirt. It reminds me what comes after 3!
Hahaha!
I'm surprised I got all 3 correct! But I mean, for 200 bucks....I don't think it'd really make a difference in a mix, but by a side by side comparison, the real thing sounds just a touch better IMO.
To be honest, I think if someone recorded an album using bias no one would be able to tell whether it was a tube amp or not. I started using sims with guitar rig 3 which is OK for effects but the actual amp sims are rubbish. I found amplitube much better for amp sounds. However, bias kills all of them without any problem whatsoever and I would have no issue using the desktop version in a live setting as I have actually used guitar rig live which is far inferior, so why not? In all fairness I did run my guitar rig through a Marshall TSL 100 head, so the crappy amp sim side of things didn't really matter too much. I'm now using a cheap Bugera 333xl infinium amp which is quite a good amp for the price and in many respects better than my old Marshall (which I swapped for an Ibanez Prestige).
It's actually a significant difference, the low end on the real one is much more pronounced. But really, for 200 bucks I couldn't ask for more, I had to pay attention to notice a difference.
Am I the only thinking that the real amp has a significant increase in the low end?
Weird how literally every guitar player/production channel on here has done a video on Bias this month. Feels very much like some obvious sponsorship is going on.
Can it simulate a Line 6 Spider? it will sound better than the spider itself
I love the energy coming out of the people playing their instruments. Enjoy the videos. You speak your mind a tell it like it is.
Thanks for the review, my favourite vid of yours so far. Keep up the good work Glen.
Whoa! The drummer on test two is a freakin' animal! :D
First of all, amazing video!
Who where those guys in the second clip? they were wicked!
Second drummer kills it!
