Best horror film of 2023. My opinion. Loved 'Terrified' as well.
Amazing director , i am going to follow his career from now on.
If you haven’t seen it, his other film “Terrified” is scary as hell.

When evil lurks is amazing
The world he built in WEL has so much potential...Its not crazy to think in a series
Man that movie was fucking gross, that's was an interesting experience watching it, i really loved the pacing of it, it never sagged, looking forward for what this director gonna come up in the future, I am really excited about those new wave of director/script writers horrors, looks like we will have a lot of good stuff to watch in the near future, horrors are coming back and getting wide releases in theaters, it's really cool.

I’ve seen When Evil Lurks twice and I don’t get the the hype. Terrified is a far superior film in my opinion. There were some great practical effects, but it wasn’t as shocking as people claim. Once you’ve seen A Serbian Film no other film can shock you.
Lol I had a harder time watching this over Serbian film.
serbian film does not have a fuck to do with this one... serbian has gore-violence for no reason just to "look" powerful-shocking, it is a pretty idiotic movie
