Hi there. I loved the original Miss Dior Chérie as well as the 2011 Chérie (which I recently used up). Have you smelt it? Since these are both discontinued I find myself reaching for the 2017 EdP. I managed to find a huge bottle last year. I consider it the next best Miss Dior. I also have a small bottle of the 2021 version.
Now, to the 2022 version. I tried it yesterday; itâs nice BUT itâs not a replacement for MD ChĂ©rie like some people online like to claim. Itâs definitely a fruitchuli, as you said. I absolutely love patchouli. I havenât tried a patchouli fragrance I didnât like.
I've tried Miss Dior Cherie, but it was very long ago so I don't remember the exact scent. I do think this new Parfum 2024 version is similar to previous chypre-based Miss Dior's, but they're not the same just like you said as well. đI'm glad patchouli always works out for you. It can be sometimes tricky note, at least it is in my case. đ
I blind bought it and I like it a lot. This is the first one I've liked since the 2014 Blooming Bouquet. The 2012 edp was my signature scent for several years.

I was dying to try this - Iâm a die hard for the 2011 miss door Cherie, and I hopes this would be close. Iâve tested it in store on my skin and, on my skin, it just goes to a (lovely, but simple) amber. I donât get much if any fruit, and no zing. I may try it again, but Iâm not sure itâs for me.
Oh, to me, fruits are the best part. I'm so sorry you don't get them on your skin. Although this is in the same vibe as Miss Dior Cherie, it's not the same. But it is very lovely. Thank you for sharing your experience. đđ„°
What do you think of this new Miss Dior Parfum? Do you like it and do you think Francis Kurkdjian did a good job with this fragrance? Do you prefer the new Parfum version or the 2021 EDP? đđ
P. S. I forgot to mention in the video that the houndstooth print on the Miss Dior Parfum (2024) is smaller in comparison to the print on the EDP (2021). EDP's bottle is bigger because itâs a 100 ml bottle, while Parfum is smaller because the biggest bottle is 80 ml and also it has rosier, more pinkish juice compared to the blush pink juice of the EDP. đ

I have Absolutely Blooming as well, but as you said, in 2023 it was announced it would be discontinued so I'm wavering whether I should save it or resell it because it doesn't seem fair to talk about it on the channel if people can't buy it anymore. đ„

It doesn't last or perform like even an EDP let alone a parfum. It's pretty but not worth the price. I bought it but only during the Macy's 15 percent off sale. That's the only way I could justify buying this itty bitty bottle of "parfum" that turns into a skin scent after 30 mins. They played us. I now see they think they can sell and tell us ANYTHING. Smh
Aw, I'm so sad it doesn't perform on your skin chemistry. The scent is pretty, and I agree that the price for 80 ml is just too much. I even mentioned it in the negative points of this fragrance. Prices of fragrances are really going wild.đŹ

I'll wait until a Middle Eastern fragrance house puts out a dupe most likely. I own a 100 ml of the 2012 Miss Dior and I adore it. I wasn't a fan of Miss Dior 2021 but this one intrigues me more. That price though ...yikes!
Yes, the price is pretty high... Middle Eastern perfumes are really good dupes. If you found another Arabian perfume that is a dupe and that isn't discontinued, write which one that is.đ
