- This swarm moved in the swarm trap by the old hog pen in my uncles old chicken yard. The move in around March 26. He called me a few days later. I was on a camping trip so I didn't get to move them for several days.
The privet looks like snow everywhere now.

Another great swarm.
Thank you.
You proved once again that bees prefer no foundation over plastic. When you pulled that first frame I was sure you were going to have a lot of comb on the bottom of those middle frames. I was surprised to see so little. I hope to get down to the farm tomorrow to see if I've caught any swarms. Rainy all day today.
A few more days and they would have the bottoms drawn out. Good luck.
BTW I enjoyed the video. I love it when swarms are given a home.
Thank you.
They sure have been getting it done. Thanks
They were growing faster that I thought.
Another honey producer for next year. God's peace brother.
Not a big swarm but they sure knew how to draw comb. Looking forward to the next transfer. Looks like a big one.
Yes they did. I really like to get these kinds of swarms in the boxes. They give you time to do something with them.
That is a nice swarm Enjoy the year with all these swarms
Thank you.
I have a swarm traps out and working on more to get ready to hang..im way up north and we got warm weather finally coming for bee's to fly and searm should be around the corner... great video
I hope you have a good swarm season. Catching swarms are fun. Thanks for watching.
😂😂 Na she's not laying
She knows you are watching!!
I needed to have her on the shady side.
Just wondering where are you getting your boxes they look wax dipped
It is waxed dipped. I got it from Frank Cormier in Welsh Louisiana atfacebook.com/allabouthoneybeesllc
At least you bring equipment with you.seen others that don't bring anything when they video, waste of time .
Hey I have to admit I've been there and done that. I try to keep a little of everything on the truck or in the bee yard. Thanks for watching.
They got an early chance to do it their way without outside opinions. I'm not a fan of those deep traps, especially if they have the time to build comb on the bottom of frames.
I've been wanting to modify them so I can put empty frames on the bottom too.
