One day for the henna ceremony where henna is applied to bride
    One haldi ( turmeric ceremony)
Sangeet ( kind of musical party night)
    And the real wedding
There's a lot more depending on the region because different regions have different rituals
And yeah Indian weddings are mostly held in homes but nowadays ppl do it in wedding halls but most of the functions are still held at their homes

I think you should watch more indian wedding video so you can understand and will know the answer of " wedding rings exchange and about kiss too"
They exchanged their wedding rings few days before their wedding as named" sagai ceremony" which is officially engaged .
About kiss , it's not gonna happen in traditional wedding as expected but now days you can see in city wedding .(10 to 15%).... 👍👍
Their are so many other customs and you both will be shocked if you would find out that every region of India has bit of different rituals to ....but" Mehndi ,haldi ,sangeet , baraat. Flower exchange , pheras(seven rounds around fire god of purity to take vows of lifetime , forever happiness) , sindhoor ( vermilion on bride's forehead) , mangalsutra (necklace /Chain given by groom to bride) , many more..... little little rituals...and Bidaai ( groom take her bride to their new home)...it takes 5 to 7 days for wedding which is highly and costly too....but this how India's tradition and faith in marriage works which says lifetime relationship to Bound wih each other. ❤️👍

I think the wedding in the video is quite boring if friends from both sides involved there it will be a great fun like when both are exchanging garland , friends of bride will lift the bride up so that groom can't exchange and to support him groom friends will also lift him but bride friends change the height so they can't exchange there are many events like this which add more fun and each member who involved in wedding work don't sleep until marriage completes a lot of work has to be done I just woke up 3 days straight by taking only 6 ,15 min naps in between and completed many tasks for preparation many people stay awake straight especially friends

The negative side of indian weddings are
    1. Whole peer pressure is on bridal side of family (financial especially)
    2. Due to some narrow minded uncles and aunties, the couple can't do what they want to do like kiss publically or pose differently say sexy or intimate
    3. Generally in middle class weddings, the couple is hungry af as they are busy with photos and talking and smiling and a whole list of rituals
    4. Middle class barats disturb the road traffic and also make the path very dirty (exceptions might be there)
