Yes, we can't generalise all Christians, that's true. Goan Christians and some new converts do kiss because of the European nature of their foundation.
What I have observed is that, some Kerala's Christians who have more than 1500 years of history in Bharat have completely immersed themselves with the lifestyle of Bharat, the customs, traditions and even the way of praying.
In that way, Kerala Christians are very distinct from the rest of the Christians.

I told you, Kerala's Christians are different from the new evangelikel ones' who follow western ways.
Even the old churches in Kerala look like temples, they even lit Diyas for Jesus just like Sanatana people worship. They have truly become one with the culture of the land.
They have no connection with European way of life that most new Christians follow.
I know a Malayali girl's name which is Parvati Joseph and she's one of those christians who have long history in Bharat.

Not all families in India are able to afford such a lavish wedding (there are even more lavish weddings costing millions of dollars, some held in India and some in exotic locations in other countries such as Italy, France, UK , Bali etc. check out those videos. However most Indian parents try and arrange the best and most memorable wedding that they can afford ( wedding costs are mostly borne by the girl’s parents which I think is unfair). Some parents even sell part of their property to afford the cost of wedding. Yes, weddings may look exotic, colourful etc but lavish spending and at times beyond their means ( getting the parents into a debt trap) is simply unnecessary.

Allow me to explain to you guys a bit about Indian weddings. So that was not only the reception, but it included The main three Celebrations: The Ladies Sangeet, The Wedding, and The Reception.
First is "ladies sangeet" (translates to Girls Music) so basically, at this function, we celebrate the occasion and party! This pre-wedding party is limited to the closest family groups. This is accompanied by the mehndi (translates to Henna) ( 1:08 ) the same night in both the families. After this, there is a tradition called "Haldi" (translates to turmeric). In this, every relative puts Haldi ( 1:42 ) on the new couple. This is done after the kings and queens in India, who bathed in turmeric because of its medicinal properties. This is followed by Sehra bandhi (translates to Turban wearing) on the groom's side and Saree Tradition in the bride's family.
The second day, after the sehra bandhi ( 4:37 ), the baraat (means the people accompanied by the groom) ( 4:59 ) goes to the wedding palace ( 4:10 ), which is customarily organized by the bride's family, but nowadays generally by both the families. In the Palace, many ceremonies like the "Jai Mala or varmala" ( 5:40 ) (where they exchange the flower made garland), followed by a lot of rituals including the parents of bride and groom, and finally the "saat phere" (the seven vows) ( 5:55 ). In saat phere, the bride and groom are virtually connected with a cloth held by them, and they revolve in circles around the "Agni" (translates to Flame), accepting those seven vows. After this tradition, they are religiously declared husband and wife.
The third morning the bride has to part from her family, which is called the "Vidai" (translates to farewell) ( 6:33 ). so now the bride leaves her home and usually goes away in any luxury car with her husband. They directly go to the temple or any religious place they believe in. Thanking their god ( 6:46 ) for keeping away every negativity and making this wedding a huge success. After that, there is another party at Groom's house, called The Reception. This is where they announce the bride to the groom's side family tree, and everyone gives gifts to the new couple (customarily to the bride as a token of acceptance of her in their family).
All these celebrations include a massive full-day feast for all the members. Including every delicacy and traditional food, there are always special arrangements for an alcohol bar and a dance stage. Every day there are 1000s of photos clicked, and dozens of photoshoots are done of the new couple.
This is a pretty vague picture of the actual Indian wedding ritual. Many rituals and ceremonies differ depending on the region and religion of the families, but this is the general trend that we Indians tend to follow. Also, nowadays many weddings mostly take longer than three days, so everything can go smoothly without any rush.
I hope this information helped you understand more about the Indian weddings.

And you mentioned there sari it was actually lehenga. it's like a gown but it's the top is different from it's bottom portion or u can say it's gown portion.

Yeah , guys Indian weddings are really so difficult .... We need so much of people and then there will be different process (rituals) on different days like
Haldi - ( the turmeric process applied on couples face by their full families)
    Ring ceramany - you know
Mehandi - ( heena tattoo ) which is actually called mehandi ( it's applied on brides hands and feet )
Ladies sangeet (sangeet means song)- the ritual where only woman's dance and sing ) ....
And then the same process - they'll marry and then receptions and then few more ritual when couples reach home .......
It's really hard Japanese wedding is alright for you 😅
    I love Japanese weddings ....
In India wedding couples don't kiss in any state .......
There are soooooo many other rituals even I don't know ...
And one more info I wanna give you is it's hard to marry an Indian wedding in summer because you are wearing so heavy clothes and jeweleries
And the video you watched is a rich wedding....
