I feel like they are glitching. I'm not sure if they are supposed to blink or not with this model. It would be cool if the lanterns did blink. I prefer it that way. It's really cool.

Nicely done!! I have a couple of questions for you... I noticed those escalators near the end aren't running. Do you know if they're off or is that some type of power saving device that turns on when people go there? Additionally, I was there right after college in 1994 and one of the garages had a huge bank of US traction elevators. Universal called them the "Star Elevators". The ground floor hall fixtures all said 'THIS CAR NEXT" and repeatedly blinked and rang bells anytime the cars were open on the bottom floor. My question is have you ever seen that bank? I've been back at least a dozen times and never found them again... I haven't even seen a bank that looked remotely like those did. Lastly, I feel as if these ET elevators are missing one needed feature. I saw the buttons for the emergency phones. Wouldn't you think there should be another button for another phone just in case someone needs to... um... phone home?... [sigh]... sorry... really tired... forgive me...
Thank you!!!! First answer, the escalators are simply powered down. I walked up a three flights of escalators and they did not start to move as I approached them. I've never seen that mechanism in the United States, only Italy (spent two weeks there as a small child, pre-9/11). I've never seen or heard of those elevators. They sound super cool though... haha phone home... nicely said. :)
