I love it how in Europe breastfeeding is not a sexual thing or a big deal. It's just as casual as feeding you're baby, because that's simply what it is. Wonderful!

Roy Perkins Every woman I know who would define herself as a feminist is pro breastfeeding in public spaces or wherever a woman needs to feed her baby (including myself). There are women who get uptight and angry about this stuff, but they aren’t feminists. Same as most healthy feminists aren’t man haters either. There are a lot of, basically, cartoon villain assumptions about feminism that are gross misrepresentations.
Uptight, puritanical men and women hate on breastfeeding mothers. Nothing to do with feminism.

Since the queen herself had to juggle having kids and being the queen, I'm not sure Claire Foy's experience was unrealistic.
You're correct. The Queen actually did breastfeed her children, although admittedly only for a few weeks (I read in a biography on her somewhere that she fed Charles for six weeks and the others for two or three) So although she didn't nurse them for long, she did do it. Her great grandmother Queen Victoria had nine kids but never fed any of them - they all got passed off to 'wet nurses'

I think Claire Foy looks really stunning with blonde hair. I first knew of her appearing in Little Dorrit. I didn’t watch it but I knew of her. Then she was in that Nicolas Cage film Season of the Witch. She had been known for a while way before she appeared on The Crown. And now look at her. Playing the Queen, Lisbeth Salander and Neil Armstrong’s wife her career has just rocketed now.

Recently i watched this series, appreciate Claire foye acting.
The Crown would not be worth watching without these two, they click. So much so, I believe in the far off future thier, on & off the screen, chemistry will still be talked about. They truly enjoy each other's company. She is a sweet woman & be is outstanding yet humble. Truly adorable together & apart. The Crown is a surprising hit, & if not for them together, I don't think they'd get a call back for season two. MAGIC! We very rarely see that anymore.
