Jamás tuve un problema de motor desde el 2006 que yo la compré y traje de Alemania hasta que la vendí en 2021. Es un vehículo fantástico que a pesar de ser transmisión delantera tiene una comodidad y prestaciones que para sí las quisieran muchos vehículos de alta gama. Un vehículo que lo tiene todo, espacio, comodidad, fiabilidad, potencia, capacidad de carga, buena frenada , bajo consumo, etc, etc, tiene también sus fallos como todos los vehículos en general por qué no hay ninguno que sea perfecto ni infalible , pero su robustez y fabricación con respeto al detalle son insignia de la marca hasta noviembre del año 2000, fecha en la que firmaron acuerdo con crisler y empezaron a compartir sistemas entre las marcas ... A partir de ahí mercedes dejo de ser lo que era. Sino una muestra es este vito con 398000 km y cuatro años parado y arranco con facilidad al igual que muchos hermanos suyos de marca que he visto en este canal que a pesar de los años pero gracias a vuestro mecánico y la robustez con la que fueron construidos vuelven a la vida después de muchos años de descanso. Gracias , gracias por el esfuerzo por estoy seguro que no será fácil para ustedes todo esto pero para mí que adoro las cuatro ruedas , este canal es un gran descubrimiento y un entretenimiento y aprendizaje genial . The light finish, the electrical glitches of the air trimmer, the head gasket that had to be redone (even though the car was bought new) did not leave us a lasting memory. Finally, the only thing that this minivan, made in Spain and powered by a VW engine, had of 'premium' were... the prices. A sad record.

400k on the clock, rotten underneath and dash lit up like the proverbial Christmas tree. Can't imagine why this one was parked - these taxi vans really do get ridden hard and put away wet.
They do have a bad habit of falling apart, not quite Mercedes Benz quality really, but that said they went downhill in the 80s and never really climbed back up... :P

The early 2.2 CDI is a cracking engine and not too rusty for a mk1 V Class either.
I thought the same. They usually rusted a lot.
