- Shows that rope jumping is fun for everybody--boys, girls and even star athletes. Explains that beginners should first exercise without rope, practicing basic movements. Points out that rope jumping steps can be simple or complicated, some involving the use of several ropes twirling at once or use of one rope with a partner or a long rope with several other people.

no overweight kiddos here, no mind-numbing phone or computer screens or games. Outdoor activities are almost a thing of the past.
Im guessing you're probably not involved in children's sports. There isn't any phones involved. Oh, and overweight kids can do jump rope just like the other children. I was the fat girl and jump rope champion of my school.
every single person who makes comments about "those gosh darned phones" spends the entire day on the phone ranting about the phone
Not every child these days is on their phone all the time or even has a phone. Also, there were overweight kids back then but maybe not as many. My mom grew up in the 70s and 80s and struggled with her weight.
Originally released in 1966.
