Khalida starts her campaign in Lybaras, which is located in the eastern part of the Southlands. Her faction has a unique building chain that allows her to recruit powerful archers, chariots, and constructs. Her campaign objectives are focused on acquiring the necessary resources to awaken the Great Sphinx of Zandri and defeat her mortal enemy, Arkhan the Black.
Khalida's unique skill tree is focused on improving her archery skills, increasing her campaign movement range, and providing bonuses to her army's melee and ranged combat abilities. Her abilities also allow her to increase her army's speed and cause fear and terror among her enemies.

The hard part with her campaign is the messed up her starting province it used to be 3 settlements that were defendable now they merged it with another province and its hard to defend it. Plus for some reason even with 100 ambush her ambushes fail almost every time to the last defenders who steam roll the skaven and then declare war on you right away and at this point in the game you have 2 armies at most and do not have the tools to deal with the lizardmen if you are lucky you will have a non agression pact with the dwarves or they will also declare war on you fast .
Dealing with the dwarves is what makes it hard and fun on Legendary.
I wish I could beat this campaign without cheating, but when I try I get infuriating outcomes like what just happened to me. my Duke whoever never captures the settlement like he does for you, he either stays in Lahmia or captures Lybaras. This time he stayed in Lahmia, so I had to fight him and his second partial army for Lahmia. I obviously barely survived. After I captured Lahmia, I start recruiting and end my turn. The cocksucking second vampire army recruits 4 squads including the scythe death guys, grave guard, ghouls and zombies. alt-f4

What I like to do is, to take the one settlement of the skavens in the south, you reach it befor the Last Defender do. Its without an army so you easly take it right away. Then you trade it to the last defender with a NP. You do the same with Mahrak. Trade it to the dwarfs. Now you are completely save and don't have to fear to face lizards / dwarfs with high armor in early game.

I never found Khalida's campaign hard but she lacks something. The other Tomb Kings all get more heroes of some kind and have magic. She could really use something unique the others don't have.

its all fun and games until knee-high and sir-slacks-in-sun declares war with you :))))
Why don't you get invaded by the enemy Army on 2 turn like I get every time I try playing her and following the path down south? Because THAT is what makes that campaign tricky and the dwarves who're very likely to declare war on you and you definitely can NOT defeat his full stack in auto resolve and have a very hard time doing it manually as well.

This cant be very hard campaign and very hard battle difficulty. The vampire army went for my 1st settlement in the north right after turn one, after i defeated the vampires and had the whole Provinz, than the dwarfs came after me with 2 full stacks. Against the one Stack i can only have until turn 13(tectree)
If you want should still have the save file.
I play wh2 and greenskins steam roll through everyone while i deal with lizzards then ard boyz start wargh and its stack after stack after stack while you cant move away to raid and have money for buildings. Im turn 80 and i hardly have settlement level 3 units, just one type of constructs and 3 lords
Thisnis for wh3 for wh2 you just need archers and you fight slowly
Her starting army sucks and doesnt fit her she should have a bone giant instead of the screaming skull catapult and sepulcheral stalkers instead of the ushtabi greatbows
This guide just does not play out true in a real game.
1. Auto resolving the first fight and then the settlement will result in losing all 3 melee skeletons every time, yet here it doesn't?
2. The VC faction attacks Lybaras on turn 2 every time, yet here it doesn't?
Is this a modded game?
No this is from patch 1 Hence game has changed drastically since then
