- My currently inked fountain pens for June 2024. Overall, it was a good month with the highlights being the TWSBI Vac 700R in Broad and the Platinum Classic Maki-e Autumn Leaves in Fine. Other pens include: Pilot Fermo, Narhwal Original Peter Draws Edition, Leonardo Momento Zero Grande Pura, Cross Townsend Year of the Rat, Waterman's 56, Pilot Elite E95S, Montegrappa Lord of the Rings - Eye of Sauron, Lamy 2000 and Lamy LX Studio.

I had a similar situation when I always inked my white and black Pilot Vanishing Point with Pilot Iroshizuku Take-Sumi and loved it. I then got a sample of Kon-Peki but every time I tried to write with Kon-Peki, it was blue and wasn’t black and somehow it was just wrong and I had to un-ink it before all was right again. 😂 Thanks for sharing and for the great videos! 😊
Hi, Jennifer. Thanks for watching and for the kind words. I really thought I was overthinking the situation. I’m glad I’m not alone. I keep saying I’m going to change the ink in my M 823 but I after this, I think I’ll leave well enough alone.
Thank you. Love the ink samples, Teri. My most recent pen, a Black Twsbi EF inked with Carbon Black and enjoying it. The extra fine nib isn't as fine as I was expecting, but a very good flow and smooth writer. I haven't done any drawing with it yet.

I totally understand the pen/ink struggle with your E95S. Maybe a rich brown would be easier (visually) to try. It would coordinate with the cap nicely. Have a wonderful July!

A galaxy of beautiful ink colors on the first page. When you started writing with the E95S I cringed at the blue ink. Isn’t that funny how some combinations are just wrong?
