When my life fell apart I didn't realize God was letting it fall in place!! Everything it costed hurt because I was only looking at what I was losing (my plan, my patterns) not realizing that God was giving me exactly what I needed somewhere I never thought it would be (His Plan, His Pattern)!!!

20:09 that was a HUGE jab to me, I've been single for 4 years and making it harder for myself by trying to talk to girls all the time. I keep comparing myself to other guys and thinking I'm better than them and thinking I'm ready for someone but I haven't learned how to be full in God

When a sermon makes me feel like I have a long way to go in faith, when it makes me feel guilty and ashamed, that's when I know the Lord is talking to me. I never want to feel like I am perfect and don't need God anymore when the truth is that I fall short to sin everyday. I feel like most pastors these days preach in a way where they want to make people feel good about themselves so they can keep going back. Transformation Church says it like it is, regardless of how it makes you feel.

This message... It was like he was preaching my life story... Every plan I’ve ever had for my life has fallen apart. I was so stubborn and so independent-minded that it took 13 years of crippling depression overlapping with 15 years of debilitating chronic illness to get me to a point of surrender. But God healed me from the depression that the doctor told me I’d have for the rest of my life. And God healed me from illness that had stolen away every hope for my future. And at twenty-nine, I’m pretty sure the average eighteen year old has their life more figured out than I do. It’s stressful. No one I know understands. But the relationship I have with God is more incredible than anything I could have imagined for my life. And my favorite thing is getting to share the stories of what my God has done for me. It still blows my mind how God got me this far. It doesn’t feel like it was that long ago that I was a desperate, broken teenager cursing God to His face, while trying to convince myself that He wasn’t actually real. God is so good. Every one of His promises are true. I’m living proof.

Today was the start of a 3 day fast God has been calling me to this whole month. I was on Instagram distracted and I saw a clip of this sermon so I figured I’d watch it. And I’ve watched hundreds of sermons in my life time but Lord, this was directly for me.
Everything I’m struggling with, the heaviness of realizing He’s calling me to total DEPENDENCY, the utter fear of what He’s calling me to... all of it. He’s spoken.

Felt this one. Stepping up to where God has placed his mark on you is not easy. I'm having to fight the deep feeling of inadequacy and anxiety each time. But at least with God I know I'm headed somewhere and not passing the motions with nothing to believe in except the tangible reality.
