wonderful, the best of luck to you for your dedication skill and perfection.
she originated the role in this version actually, she danced as juliet when nureyev first choreographed this version for ENB
These dancers are amazing 🤩 👌🏻
Beautiful and accurate.
Beautiful even in practicing 💜
where i can find complete version? thanx
Anyone know where we can watch the full documentary? I’ve only found episode 1!
@SuedeNyme Why thank you! Your comment means alot!
Wish I could find all the episodes...
When can we see the whole episode? I've watched the first episode time and time again; and been waiting for the second and the third years after years........
i know your comment is two years old but Stella Mikhal's channel has it then the next two episodes are on Ian Davies' channel here on CZcams
I wanted to write something on the full Agony and Ecstasy/Royal Ballet about what a vile man that Derek Dean appears to be - but the comments have been switched off! Can only imagine a lot of viewers have the same view.
the dancers are great...they have no real limits to how they persevere against there own authority and rights as a person. The ballet people around them are like police....bullies.
The original Juliet was Lynn Seymour but Margot Fonteyn danced it on opening night and changed it to her classic style.
Do you mean it was choreographed on Lynn Seymour first? How interesting!
Yes, it was more edgy and modern with Lynn Seymour, but management wanted Margot so she came in & changed it to her classic English style@@julijepp
Has anyone been able to find full episodes 2 and 3?
I saw the full episode over a year ago. It was about the entire rehearsal process of R & J. Men getting inured with swords, etc. It was fantastic. Not the injuries, the all-around episode. Not sure why they took it down. I'd watch it again.
I wanted to be a ballerina 🩰 and took class and a kid I wanted to keep going but it was $$ and the family was not well off and by time I could make my own money my body was not ballerina fit this is a regret I will have my whole life 🩰
It's never too late to start again!
Well, if it’s any consolation you body is not ruined, at least by ballet.
You had a lucky escape, you could do adult ballet.
maybe less smoking would help.
Brutal and unnecessary to treat these beautiful dancers 🙏🏻
She is trying to build their stamina. They are going to need to dance the whole ballet!
They could easily have a heart attack... bad teaching
schlecht
who is that horrible old choreographer? why don't she dance it herself?
she's not the choreographer, she was juliet when that production was choreographed by nureyev.
in the 16th Century.
7 years late but she did dance it; she was the original Juliet in this production and honestly she was hard/strict but not mean. I honestly felt Derek Deane from Ep 1 was worse and the trainwreck that was Ep 3 really made me feel so sorry for the dancers. That said seeing these productions live really give you a huge sense of awe over the insane stamina the dancers need just to do the whole show all the way through. :)
@@crazygfish Yeah, Derek was absolutely terrible to everyone. Most times he didn't even tell the dancers how to improve, he just yelled about how terrible they are. Where did you find episode 3? I can't find episodes 2 or 3 anywhere
