English National Ballet's Choreographer Wayne Eagling is running out of time to create his brand new Christmas Nutcracker. It's the final rehearsal day at English National Ballet headquarters and Wayne has still got 6 minutes of dance to create.

@@tiahnnayasmine670 It used to be available on BBC Player (they might have put it on again?) and some people did post them here on YT but they all seem to be gone now. :( It's a really good series and you will spend most of it feeling for the dancers.
English National Ballet comes across as a horrible, horrible place to work for a dancer, such a toxic atmosphere... my goodness, I wonder how many of the dancers get physical AND mentally damaged.
I‘m really surprised that the company agreed to have this documentary broadcasterd, the 1st episode about the swan lake production was painful even to watch.
Total contrast to all the videos of the Royal Ballet 🩰.

I cannot speak to what it was like during Mr. Eagling's time at the helm, but under the direction of Ms. Tamara Rojo, English National Ballet has been the very best I have experienced (among many experiences) in terms of healthy atmosphere and care for the dancers.
Yes, the choreographer for Swan Lake was such a drama queen! I know people like that--they're envious that the dancers can create such beauty.
