How to support Brick Bending:
- Follow me for free updates, or consider a support tier: / brickbending
- Buy a DIY kit: wlwyb.com/shop/
- Buy a piece of original LEGO art: www.brickbending.com/shop
- Throw some bricks my way: www.buymeacoffee.com/brickben...
Piece counts for each design:
- Circle: 1x2 plates (138), 1x2 bricks (207)
- Intersecting Circles: : 1x2 plates (268), 1x2 bricks (402), 1x3 plates (4), 1x3 bricks (6)
- Hyperbolic hexagon: : 1x2 plates (72), 1x2 bricks (108)
- Hexa-lens: : 1x2 plates (456), 1x2 bricks (684), 1x3 plates (12), 1x3 bricks (18)
- Six Intersecting Circles: 1x2 plates (780), 1x2 bricks (1170), 1x3 plates (24), 1x3 bricks (36)
A word of caution: If you’re going to try creating brick bending designs use new bricks and plates if at all possible. You can buy them from your local LEGO store or bricklink.com. Brick bending designs hold tension, and old/worn bricks can fail or break under stress. However new bricks are pretty darn tough. : ) The bricks used in this video were purchased new from my local LEGO store many years ago, but have only ever been used in brick bending designs.

I feel like this guy has stepped on one lego too many, and now, he's out for revenge.
PLEASE he's torturing them in forbidden shapes
It's like a human centepede but in lego
The story behind this youtuber
I think he just unlocked the forbidden 'you're not supposed to be here' level and now there's no going back.
Please make this be true
Every time the bricks creak, someone, somewhere: "I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened."

that someone was me, the vid is cool and all but I was almost crying because of the sound the bricks made
Honestly it just gives me so much nostalgia of my days on my bedroom floor playing with all my legos strewn everywhere
It is so uncomfortable to see bending lego bricks, but at the same time, very satisfying too. What a weird feeling and a unique video
The bricks barely bend. The key is the small gap between two bricks, by using very short and only one row wide bricks, this allows to bend the construction without bending the pieces (much).

Although these building techniques are illegal, it's amazing how you made superb designs and shapes out of Legos

yep
does it explode if we put too much stress on the bricks
@@OrRaino i think so
The creaking is the Lego bricks screaming in pain
@Achita Prakitchaiwattana bro speaking noodle 💀
What's funny is this technique is completely legal as it doesn't over stress the parts despite everyone saying that it is.
I love how everything eventually turns into a circle
I am so impressed and so uneasy at the same time.
its cool as fuck but the sound of the lego bricks bending makes me want to grind my teeth
why does it make u uneasy

Wait, that's illegal
right but honesly i would never do that cause that can ruin the bricks
bc it bends the underside where it would connect to another brick u can do that so much better by making it just a tad more jagged or make it on a base plate
@Synth avatar hmm not expected
Cringe
@@NitroPhoenix27 but on a base plate you wouldnt be able to brick bend
I tried to make a lego once out of legos. I eventually perfected it to the point that I could create one using just one lego.

Bro the Lego circle sounded like it was gonna burst any second😂
i came here to be relaxed
i left here with an everlasting tension in my bones that the universe would snap in half at any moment.
At first I was like: "Ah yes the One Ring."
Deeper into the video I realized this was Sauron's doing. No one else would create something so evil but beautiful at the same time.
I love that despite these all being under considerable tension for LEGOs, they are all able to be picked up and stand on their sides, where the force is most concentrated
Yeah, it's fun and mildly frustrating to watch.

I love these so much, I’ve seen a bunch of videos talking about illegal Lego combinations, and why you shouldn’t do them. So I love to see somebody embracing them and making awesome builds.
The crunches 🥹🥹🥹
The most impressive thing about it is how the LEGO police hasn't caught him yet. These builds are so illegal on so many levels.
I'd also like to notice how good editing is on these videos. Makes them easy to follow as well as they keep going forward and never get stale. Subtle things like this are often underappreciated.
Exactly, I was hearing the bricks creaking and I’m like OK he’s definitely putting stress on the legos
Then I looked at his chameleon name
Channel auto corrected to chameleon, what
@@rebeccaoertell6941 Its his legos, let him do whatever he wants with them.

What I’m in awe about is the amount of 1 by 2 yellow bricks that he has
Yes , regular people like us cannot achieve this because it would cost a lot to get all those yellow twoies!
bro is the lego store’s number one customer
I reckon at least 1000 in this- each ring looks like 210 yellow 2x1s. Yes I am procrastinating and should be doing something else.... lol
@@bikergirl2000 no, this is important!!😂
This guy is single handedly keeping the pick a brick wall in business
Your designs are very clever and creative. The second one is my favourite although the last one was the most impressive.
How how?! This is epic🤯
I like that whenever he did a ‘final product’ shot, I would think, “cool but what if you kept going?” And then he would do just that.
“Uhh boss? We have a problem. One of our employees is playing with LEGO’s..”
Boss: “Wait- is it jerry?”
“Uhh yeah?”
Boss: “Let him continue. But if he starts making optical illusions call the police.”
“Yes sir.”
How long do these creations last? Ive been thinking of attempting one of the bigger ones as a wall accent piece, but am concerned it may break over time without lego glue or something like that. Any advice?
as long as you make the surface area of the thing holding it up large enough and have the force distribuited evenly,It should be fine.
This man is breaking the laws of Lego physics
My favorite part of these videos is when he finishes a section and then slides in 5 duplicates of it. And then he uses those to build a thing and you think it's over, but then he slides in 5 *more* of the thing. I want a video of that part happening over 8 hours to build some kind of fractal nonsense.
I was wanting to comment that same thing but couldn't figure out how to word it thank you now I dont need to figure it out

dude the first creation was satisfying asf
Imagine making Olympic logo with using Legos
That's what I was thinking! ;-)
Damn, I just made a similar comment now. You beat me too it!
Olympic lego?

Should just start calling these "LEGO Origami". The way you make a basic shape and then just keep adding them together reminds me a lot of some of the origami I've done.
It reminded me of knitting, in that exact way ~~
I wanna try all of these out so bad
A work of art!
This is so cool, I need to see more AFOLs in the lego community doing this.
Agreed!
Yesssss
A very niche purpose I often see that other builders use this technique for is building monorail tracks. I even experimented with an own lego monorail using this technique.
Bhai AFOL kya hai
@rajivsharma3346 I'm pretty sure it's "adult fan of lego"
I had no idea something could be so satisfying and anxiety inducing at the same time

4:39 Bro built a biblically accurate Angel.
It was a simple and effective demonstration of establishing something and expanding on it. Why can't people of my country can't be this way?
Idk why but this is so satisfying and how, just HOW
Do you keep all of your creations? If so you should make a montage of all of them.
Yes the mc Donald’s logo don’t turn into a v
he might destroy them after every video or something bc u do need alot of bricks to do creations
4:09 this is definitely a star
Brick Bending: I am not that simple

Bro owns the whole lego store with the lego pieces
I am amazed to say the least. I didn't think it was possible for lego to even get this shape, but this guy managed to do it somehow.

I love the way you build up to the final creation in this video, using simpler versions to demonstrate each concept then bringing them all together in the end
it's so satisfying
The first one sound unbelievable 😮
I was watching this and was freaking out the entire time "YOU ARE STRESSING YOUR BRICKS TO MAKE A VENN DIAGRAM-"
He’s not stressing them. They all are rotating around the studs.
Who cares? They are his.
He is stressing the bricks a little bit yes, but you would be surprised to know how much stress a lego brick can endure before getting permanetly deformed, the little amount of stress he is putting on those bricks wouldn't even be enough to weaken their structural integrity at all
This is ASMR that I can get behind! Way cooler than my robots!
Thank you! But I would say both this, and your robots, are pretty cool. 😃
Oh no he is modest
I am amazed by these Lego creations
Dude he is a Masterbuilder
I liked and subbed
Me at 4:52 ... *satisfied feeling* ...The circle will be complete.
Before the last creation, I was going to leave a comment suggesting to replace the L intersections with + intersections and make 6 interlocking circles. Then it happened. Very nice job.
It's amazing and also satisfying
the creaking noise scratches that itch in my brain
“This does put a smile on my face”
you can hear the legos' screams as he bends them
i like that this person always things bigger, how they can add more onto it in the next step. i also think that way
In Moscow there are several residential multi-storey multi-apartment round houses built of typical reinforced concrete panels.
The most interesting thing about them is that these are typical reinforced concrete panels of ordinary flat houses, they just have tolerances for installation gaps and within these tolerances the architect designed such round houses.
I can't contain myself with your videos. I keep moving around and audibly saying stuff in pure reaction, which I very rarely do otherwise. I expressively react more to one of yours than I usually so for several seasons of shows that I like. Absolutely love it!
the least autistic Lego fan
This is so cool but it's put tones of stress on the bricks and they will break eventually
We’re all going to die…glad this person takes risks, and not deterred by possible danger.
Yeah i think using the rounded ones would be better. If they exist, i remember them do
In regards to aging, they work more as an elastic - they won't snap, but they will crumble away. So at least it's not dangerous, and if left alone quite an eternal display
what a cool duplication glitch!

Its funny that people are saying this is anti asmr. The sound of these bricks creaking is a massive asmr trigger and feels absolutely amazing. You don’t even have to watch the video to feel the asmr you can just listen to the video and feel it. I continuously come back to listen to it
