Alright, the train one is actually the best use of spring shooters iâve ever seen
this is literally like early machine guns with trays of rounds going perpendicular to the action. Can't pull a model out of my head right now, but I'm sure I've seen something very very similar :D
Chain gun
ITS LEGIT A MACHINE GUN
nothing can compare to the train of dakka
You could use this to recreate something like a Bren or a Chauchat in LEGO.
"Our Lego Spring Loaded Shooters will blot out the sun!"
Then, we will build in the shade!
thank you lego comment section for making me feel smart

After spending three years of my childhood wondering where _one_ plastic missile went (found it while moving out,) I can only applaud your confidence.
4:13 "That is but a taste of our fury! Do you yield?"
Hehehe no
Heh heh heh heh, I do not
Here comes the stud shots
The train firing like a bloody machine gun was the most amazing thing Iâve ever seen
My first thought when seeing the train was a giant machine gun MOC which uses the train as a belt to feed it ammo
It's got me wondering if someone has ever made a build using these as a missile pod, would be great on an armored train.
This is pretty much how chainguns work
Next step: soft bullet belt made from lego tank tracks, a motor, and boom
That is until someone makes an autoloader and makes it capable of auto-shooting indefinitely.
Very satisfying! The train idea was very unique and at a certain angle it should like like the clones are ACTUALLY firing at those clankers!
R.I.P the clanka's =,[
that one battle droid was lucky 2:54
Whoa. You're just gonna say that?
woah, dude, no need to use the hard "r"
Clanker is our word, but you can use clanka
What I love about the spring-loaded shooters is that they're designed so they work with the arrow loaded in either end.
4:00 i love bowtha

Nobody ever talks about the aesthetic potential of these
32x32 spring shooters, each with a specific colour of ammo, to make a pixel picture. Figure out how to launch all at once and have a "flying sprite" irl :D
I've seen someone use the colour separation of the shooters to make the tempering effect on a katana
@@qq13563817153 thats amazing sounding
@@qq13563817153 Wait they use them to make the hamon on a katana? Do you know where I could find that, sounds cool.
The grid launcher reminds me of the "hwacha", a centuries-old war weapon used to fire hundreds of rocket-powered projectiles all at once.
Oh that's one of my favorite Mythbusters tests!

I can imagine building a giant frame out of technic beams that slot over each of the bolts, so you only need to move it a nudge and every bolt fires simultaneously
The train was TOO COOL !!
I love how all the Lego bits shot off from one point, very clean and satisfying
The train makes me think of how ammo is belt-fed into things like miniguns. Love it.
I agree
2:36 Droid 5533 fainted from exhaustion. đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
The shooting train idea really reminded me a Hotchkiss Mle 1909 from WW1. It had magazine what had somewhat had same principle of feeding the gun.
This is one of the most satisfying videos I've ever watched. That train made the 501st look like they're firing an LMG.
2:57 that one Droid left standing is a badass
2:36 that one Droid that falls over is a mood
Man, that train design and scene was just brilliant! The wall of arrows was great too, but I wish you had done another attempt with a more fortified wall and/or where 1 person held it in place while the other launched the arrows. Thanks for sharing the fun though, it was great to see them all go off at once like plastic fireworks.
Fantastic! The train version looked the best imo. It has potential as well to have two rows firing at the same time or alternate them (have a gap in the top row while bottom row fires and vice versa).
Idea: Make something like a gatling gun where you have the spring shooters in a chain (using track pieces probably) and have it shoot like the train one, could be cool
It cost 400 thousand dollars to fire this weapon, for 12 seconds....
400 * 0.07 on average is not equal to 400 000 dollars.
What was your math?
To both Crunchy banana, and Blushing Butterfly, itâs a meme from the Meet the team (TF2) Heavy

That's practically a clip-fed machine gun.
You should build a Gatling gun from these. Using the entire shooter piece as the casing in an ammo chain style loader.
That train trick could be genuinely useful for brickfilms.
I love how the addition of 400 of them makes enough recoil to knock the entire device over.
Isn't it rather the moment of force generated by pushing downwards offset to the base?
That train was pure genius, so satisfying to watch.
If you were to build another wall like that and place it *right* behind the arrows and make sure that all arrows enter that wall at a very low distance (probably no more than 2-3mm?) then you could press down with that second wall and shoot all 400 at once rather than going row by row :)
The train part gave me an interesting idea. Could you try making a Lego machine gun that is belt-fed?
You could attach the spring-shooters to a belt that is looped through using a Lego motor and as the spring-shooters reach the barrel, you can have one of the slope things setup to make them fire. Could be really satisfying and a cool build.
Đ đ đźŃĐ°ĐŒĐž 11
that looks fun! If my calculations are correct, compensating for the amount of launchers vs the amount of arrows, and taking into account the history of these arrows along with a bit of personal experience, I estimate you will have about 27 left after a year, and you will find a total of 6 behind the couch the year after!
these spring loaded shooters are like cartridges. I'd like to see this incorporated in a lego tank design.
The firing at the droids was really satisfying! More of that! Big Armies Batteling! Automated contraptions that make them fire at eachothers! Cinematic battle scenes!
If you have a 20Ă20 panel or 20Ă20 worth of blocks put together, each hole in the back should correspond with one arrow. Put some blocks on as a handle and carefully line it up to fire them all at almost the exact same time instead of row by row
Thats what I was thinking. Or even a grid of technic.
using the bottoms of blocks/plates would need some size adjustment bc bricks are taller than they are wide. technic bricks stacked up would be slightly easier as the holes should already line up
Shooting everything simultaneously should produce significant recoil. I want to know how big of a kick that would be.
Actual title: Firing 400 LEGO Spring Loaded Shooters at once!
Alternate title: So Guys I Just Made a Lego A-10 Warthog!
You cannot imagine how GOOD i felt when the 5 carts all shot at once. That was so cool. And donât get me started on the S O U N D
the surviving battle droid in the train was lucky
Very satisfying but I must say I have always appreciated the design for these spring loaded shooters for their effect, despite what many might say. I just hope they don't fade out too soon, or at least remain affordable value.
can you PLEASE make a train that has an activating mechanism on it, that interacts with stationary shooter walls in a similar curved setup. then you can add a bunch of guys in the middle of the circle and all the shooter walls will be angled towards them! I think it would be so satisfying.
A contraption to sort and load the arrows automatically? Thoroughly enjoyed this.
It would be really cool if you could make an actual Lego technic machine gun design using these ways of firing these
I did not expect it to be THAT satisfying! Total surprise :D
The best part about thesea spring-loaded shooters is that you can load and fire them in either direction.
1:30 "pretend they're loading up their tanks"
Yes. Muzzle loading blasters... With blaster shot.
This is my new headcanon.
1:22 put it in the hands like they're reloading. reloading laser by hand đ
UHHHHHHHHHđ„Žđ„Žđ„Žđ„Žđ„Ž
You should construct a mini gun esc design with them. That would be badass
I'd suggest you to use a wall of beams with technic holes on them so you can fire all of them at once by moving that instead.
War never changes. I forget which SCP number was a bunch of living Lego, but imagine the carnage if they got their little blocky hands on this video, or even this channel.
That's a fun idea. For some reason, the design reminds me of those pin press board toys you press your hands into.
Same, thatâs what I first thought
You could probably make them all fire simultaneously if you rigged up a wall of bricks with holes in em and lined up the holes with the ends of the projectiles
He'll be randomly finding those little missiles lying around about the house for years to come.
My dude out here doing what we all wish we do when we were kids.
Most satisfying thing Iâve seen in a while. I love the train idea!
Thank you very much!
@@brickstorybuilds9664 0:12 I just got a smaller box like that on the right from IKEA and there was big ones like that there too so did you get it from IKEA also?
Truly giving the people what they want. This was beautiful

0,1% Of germs when you use hand sanitiser:
I know a lot of other people are stating it in the comments, but that rapid-fire train mechanism you made was awesome!
Brilliant video! I was hoping you would use the holes of technic pieces in a 20 x 20 grid to push the backs of each shooter down at the same time. I donât know how easy the alignment would be on thatâŠ
Exactly my thought! It should be possible to rig an actual full broadside that way... Given how cheap they are I might actually have to buy some and do that...
Beautiful! It's a pity that I don't have such detailsđ„
Dude, this is actually one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
First time I got a set with one of these in it, I didn't realize just how punchy the spring was and proceeded to launch the projectile across my room, where it promptly disappeared into the same dimension that lost socks and other small Lego pieces go to.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA! LMAO your comment is hilarious but Dont Forget Gloves
The train reminds me of a clip in a gun, very cool. As for simultaneous firing, you would need a second "wall". The first wall holds the arrows, the second one is made of bricks with holes. These holes would line up with the arrows and, when moved, should fire all the arrows at the same time. đ
You described what I was also thinking. Saved me writing the comment! For maximum pew pew spew!
I love the train idea! Sooo cool!
When I clicked on this video, I knew I'd be leaving satisfied
seeing how beautiful shooting the line of those shooters on the train was makes me want to make my own, maybe even 3D printed
2:45 me when I go to pee
Ok?
I hate it how he missed that one loader at 3:48
2:43 that one soldier who survived is the goat
Classic move by the stormtroopers to miss that droid.
To make them all fire simultaneously, you could build basically what the last one was but have a 1-2 brick gap between each row. Then make duplicate structure with the slanted bricks instead of launchers. Then just align the slanted brick structure with the gaps and press down to hit all the shooters at once. Should also probably cut down on the amount that didn't launch properly as well.
I think a good use for these is make black projectiles and then put a bunch on the side of a pirate ship set so that you can broadside other ships
đabsolutely hilarious all my family were crying In laughter. Very clever planning and very successful!
I wonder if you could make a backboard that used the same slope idea as the train for the 400 square? So that you could just press the two parts together and then every shooter fires all at once!
I'd love to see someone make a functional clip-fed gun out of these!
You need to make a grid shaped trigger for the wall to fire all of its arrows truly at once
âGenius designâ strong praise coming from a brilliant inventor!
Iâve always loved these shooters! This is so cool! Do this with flick-fires next đ
If you dropped the block of 400, would the shock cause most or all to fire at once or is the projectile so light they get held in by the springs? That way you could really get them all to fire simultaneously. You could build a shroud around the block to make it fall predictably :D
Have it fall onto a panel of slopes in strips that correspond with the rows of the spring loaded shooters.
So as it falls, in a frame like your idea using gravity, the slopes would also use gravity to shift every projectile up a bit from the fall.
They shoot straight up with this idea though, and that's not ideal.
Genuinely fun video. I'm like 36 now but you never really grow out of wanting to play with legos.
this brought back so many memories of attaching guns onto cars
Good video. I got a couple of those blocks sorting through some bulk bins at a used Lego store. I thought they looked interesting. I didn't know what they did till now
Very cool, Alter!
this is the kind of video that is destined to *explode* on youtube
Alright, now it's time to fire one spring-loaded launcher with the force of four hundred.
2:54 I'm impressed that one battle droid is still standing
Cool Video đđ
why is lego still so much fun , especially the ones that you can shoot
The clone "sniper nest" outcome would actually be a really cool tactic for Star Wars-- take out the tank and start hitting it with repeating blasters just powerful enough to ricochet and shred the phalanx in front of it.
00:04 Arrow? I always thought of them as bolts, like youâd have in a crossbow.
3:53 LEGO hwacha
using trains as basically a belt fed magazine was awesome.
The worst pain imaginable is trying to find these things after youâve launched them
The one time four hundred Lego bricks looks like a lotđ
Pickle
Pickle
This actually reminds me a bit of the Korean hwacha. It was like a medieval 'rocket artillery' from 100+gunpowder driven rockets all lighted by a single fuse.
I think dropping the wall on its back from about 4 to 6 inches and having all 400 shoot straight up would be awsome.
That was soooo satisfying to watch, especailly considering it was rooted in such a brilliantly simple mechanism.
love how the TL shows that the most watched points in the video are the very beginning and when he fires them all at once*
*i was really hoping they would go off at the same point in time
That train one was what I call some clone fire power đ
