I put a set of JL C1 6.5" components in my ram front doors. Mounted the tweets up in the sail panel. Ran through a Audiocontrol LC 7, into a Hertz amp. Sounds awesome.

Today I need to replace a blown factory speaker in a Mazda 3 Hatchback, To my surprize you led me back to the Infinities. 6532's in the front to start and if I decide to push it I'll put the Kappa's in the rear doors and add juice!...Thanks again.

I installed 4 6.5 jbl stadium speakers running off a jbl apex 1504 mini amp in my Honda accord. Wired to 1 ohm final....wow they were loud and clear,really punchy for under $600 installed. Also they were coaxial not component, friends love being in the car, awesome sound experience......
Hey Mike! Thanks for your input advice and testing of all these speakers. Got myself some 6.5 Pioneer TS-M650 Pros with some Skar VX35-ST Tweeters. My God, the difference! Of course the factor oem paper mache speakers were the WORST i've ever encountered. The oem magnet itself was literally the size of a RING FINGER on the 6x9s (FJ CRUISER)! I am not kidding! Anyways this is a massive step up that compliments my two 12" Kicker CompVRs on an Mono Block Class D Kenwood Excelon XR-1001.

Hands down best bang for your buck 6.5”components are the Savard Speaker Systems RapV2 6.5s. Don’t sleep on Savard Speaker systems. Great customer service, use top notch materials at a price point that makes everyone happy!!!!

GTO 609C are very good even without an amp. Of course they need a lot of power to perform best. Tweeters are very good quality, maybe a little to loud, but being silk soft dome you can play for hours and never getting ear fatigue. JBL is always a very good idea for rock and hip-hop paired with an amplifier. Also they are very good being 92+ SPL sensitivity, they are also LOUD not just very good sound.
I hope your next video will be about 6x9 speakers, can't wait for it. You are THE BEST speaker expert EVER👍

Alpine type S coaxial are pretty good on stock stereo
My 2004 VW Passat Wagon has already been factory sound deadened. Even the stock Non-Monsoon system, the mids in front & rear components sounded like 8's.
I now currently want 2 upgrade both component sets even tho they still are all rocking well with my Orion XTR750.4. To compliment those with bass. I have a CT-SOUNDS 1000.1D amp. I have been considering getting the NVX components that have a 2ohm resistance as I can utilize the average RMS from the birth sheet, which is 209 watts rms @2ohms pwrd by 13.3v i believe. I, however, am pushing 14.3v. In case any1 is curious as to head unit. Run all RCA 6 volt preouts with a Maxpeedingrods Double Din 7" Android head unit. I love it! Great setup. Currently, for bass running, @1ohm is two 4ohm Black Diamond Audio 12s. DIA-R12D4's. I do have plans to upgrade those down the road, but the focus is on SQL, so the component upgrade from stock takes priority. So far, I am very pleased with an average of 2,000 watts RMS.

Hi, man, I just want to assure you that Harman Kardon speaks very well in my Subaru after I made a real sound proof isolation. There is still bare metal behind the speakers, thus you need some aftermarket work if you want to hear your sound system in this bare metal can box.
With hifi speakers and the few car speakers I've owned, I found that I prefer paper cones over plastic. Plastic usually sounds too soft and smooth to my ears.
Have you did a review on the Skar Audio TX65C? I'd like to see how they compare to these.
What sounds the cleanest at high volume to go with my Rockford Fosgate P1000X1BD amp and 2 - 12" P3's? the kappas are amazing! if you have heard some kappa 93ixs they are nice. personally, I'm going to be going with some skar mids and either a orion xtr super tweeter or a skar super tweeter but for sound quality get some kappas and a decent amp.

Sorry i'm late to the party. lol.. i have a 2008 Mercedes sl and the doors had a 6.5 and a 3.75 all wired in that fiber optic stuff . Pulled it all out and put in a pair of Kenwood xr1701 6.5's in and a pair of ts a 879 3.75 speakers in and its sounds really good

Infinity has to be one of the best sounding speakers that I have ever heard. Infinity produces the absolute best ,deep, clean lows. And highs as well. I'd like to emphasize how great the sound quality is when it comes to the lows. I had a pair of 12 inch Infinity subs in my D21 Hardbody truck, let me tell you, they were some of the best subs that I've had to date. And this was back in the mid 2000's Prior to that was my Hifonics in a bandpass box in my 67 mustang coupe.

The Infinity kappa perfect 600m are the best components for the money. I have tried rockford T2 and JL audio C2 and the kappa perfects blow them all away.
They are rated at 100rms. I ran a rockford T-600 (100x4ems) and it wasn’t enough. I ended up running them with Rockford T-100-4 and they scream! They love power! I also am running the kappa perfect 600M midranges and tweeters

I went from focal access 6.5s to the jbl 609c 6.5s with sound deadener and 45x4 rms class d amp . And after 3 weeks went to the focal access components . The jbls was not in same class at all. The focals much fuller sound . Bass and all

I have the jbl gto609c on a 4x800 watt NVX A/B amp and a pair of infinity reference 6530cx in the front. Tbh the infinity's have way more bass than the JBLs
Can you put a 6.5 speaker in a ported box? Obviously they don't give good bass in your door but is it possible do make a decent ported box?? I'm going to make one I'm just not sure what specs I'll use. 🤔

I currently have the alpine type S in 2 of my vehicles. One set on Kenwood excelon amp at 125watts, another on excelon 105watts, an. They do sound great. Vivid and natural but i cant get any kind of bass out of them in any of the vehicles. Gains and crossovers tuned with SMD equipment. Even with crossovers off. No bass. 😅

Ok so i just had the kappas put in my gfs ford flex. They put a 360w amp to them and they sound straight flat like the bass is straight missing almost completely.should i but a bigger amp to them? I see i can run them to 110w rms and this amp is 65w rms. Are they underpowered?

Idk what I should get the alpine or the infinity cappas? I just want my music to sound clear crisp but also the ability to feel the bass if anyone with more knowledge than me would do me the favor and give me their opinion that would be great‼️‼️
Unpopular opinion, newer infinity kappas do not sound good. I had them in my car for a while and I was not pleased. They are cold and shrill sounding to me. I much prefer the sound of the JBL GTO series, same company but much smoother sounding. Although at the moment im using a pair of morel Hybrids.
