Dude these are gorgious, keep up the work! One minor thing: afaik in Vanilla you werent able to sheep a mob withput pulling the entire group (maybe it's possible in Classic) or it just ignored for the purpose of this great video! :D
@@MC-nt7jz I mean, i literally was at one point first aiding whole fucking raid and offtanking with pet. Healer didnt even bother to throw a heal at anyone but tank and he sucked at that too. Also reviving said tank with goblin jumper cables after i feign death. Old privates (TBC before WOTLK was out) were not working as intended. Cooldown on First aid did not really worked, so i could just use it constantly, jumper cables revived 100% of times, Normal and XL didnt share cooldown and feign death pulled you out of combat and wont put you in it unless you got hit or attack. Also most bosses did not have working spells. Wild times.
You forgot the part about running out of ammo, or having a new gun to upgrade your bow and having to switch out all your quivers for ammo pouches and be broke again.
The Mage part is so accurate. They should've also shown a Pet destroying mages around lvl 40 ( Beast Within ) and then being destroyed by mages at lvl 60.
Lol no mages were a threat to a pvp hunter. Hit the mana and if they try to close the distance...trap, force them to burn a cd, scatter shot. Reset the vipe and just DPS them hard.

As a hunter main, I respect that we can become dicks to others. One thing I do like about hunters though is exploration. In classic, we are encouraged to find the best beasts to use for open world, PvP, and PvE and learn new skills as we develop companionship with one another. And in retail, it feels rewarding to find some of the rarest beasts out there on Azeroth, Outland, AU Draenor, and Argus.
There's also when Feign Death just straight up doesn't work. Also damage doesn't disable Aspect of the Tiger or Pack so you just keep getting dazed until you turn it off.
Inaccurate. The hunter dead zone is way more obnoxious than that. Firstly the mage barely even gave salt to the hunter. And second, there was no rogue to constantly run in and out being able to hit and leaving the hunter unable to get a strike off.
Blizzard designed the Hunter class to be the redheaded step children of the game. "Ok, lets give them a bunch of abilities that don't work with eachother, OR the abilities of other classes!" There were so many occasions where the only real thing you could do, was just... autoshot/autoattack.
Friends of mine used to play a Hunter who, once everyone else _more_ appropriate for it got theirs, managed to snag The Untamed Blade for himself. After that he basically turned a walking _/spit_ magnet for every Warrior out there in existence be it Horde or Alliance.
As a hunter, posts like this keeps pissing me off. Everyone and their mother seem to do their darn best to maintain the stigma that all hunter players are somehow trash players. It's not like I've seen my fair share of warriors who run around trying to tank with a 2 hander, getting pissy about loosing aggro and refusing to use taunt, while still claiming to be "top dps". Or what about about the warlocks or priests that for some reason decide fearing every single mob in a dungeon is an acceptable action, despite being informed multiple times not to. The "hunter loot" meme, is still going strong, but I've lost count of the times I've seen non hunters rolling on mails and bows, thinking that is acceptable, but then raise hell when the hunter rolls on a +agi melee weapon... Every class brings some utility, and while hunters might not be top dps past bwl, they still bring added utility no other class can. So please, for my and other hunters sanity, stop with the "huntardz, lolz" meme, and start treating us as something else than 2/3rd class citizens...
I remember being a hunter main and going through the trouble of getting the SM skeleton key and still having trouble getting into a group. Groups would pay me to come unlock the door for them, but not trust me enough to add to group.

Yup cuz there’s a stupid distance issue. Either the mage is too far for sword or to close for arrows but just close and far enough where nothing works
