Hello Sam, This is Susan (Mama B) Thank you so much for my beautiful spoon set! I was so surprised when I saw the engravings. It really was the perfect gift! đâ€ïž
So nice to "meet you"! :) I really really enjoyed how yours turned out too! Kudos to your gift giver for reaching out to see if I would do something custom. I enjoyed it! :)
Iâm so pleased with my order, and you showed my utensils in your video, it was awesome to see and to know they were the ones shipped to me. I will order another set for my daughter for Christmas. Again thank you so much and thanks to Angela for my soap order too. You are my favorite show on you tube. I look forward to watching you every week.
That is so cool! :) Thank you again and again for your order too! I will let Angela know. :)
As always, great video. I have to say, watching you do these things (And please know I mean this is only the best way possible) because your unsophisticated style of working and explaining things speaks to me on what feels like an equal level and gives me tons of confidence in my own endeavors. I don't ever have to say "Yeah well HE can do it because look at his incredible expensive setup" or "his experience level puts him way above the average guy". I love that about your approach and its why I love tuning into your channel whenever you put something out, even when it has nothing to do with Laser Engraving. :) You seem like someone I could walk up to at a Wal-Mart and ask a question of and you would gladly answer. Please keep that "regular guy" style about you and never change because I am sure I am not alone that cherishes your approachability.
Jack I am in the same boat or way that you are, simple and easy, its not how good or the money one spends on things, its the care and way one works doing the job or produce the product, caring to get the best bang for the job or product, Later
Absolutely Agree100 % I ask him a question on line and he did replyed back to me and I always watch there channel â€
I really genuinely appreciate this comment Jack! It resonates with what I truly want from this channel and what I hope people who view come away feeling. :) Thank you for the encouragement! I've been stopped a few times in stores by viewers and once the initial deer-in-headlights wears off of me, like to think I'm as approachable in person as in these videos. :) Thanks!
@@kathycortez232 Thank you so much!

I appreciate that!
Very informative !
Glad your back Sam!! Hope to see your Shapeoko Pro up and running again soon!!
I enjoy time in my workshop. :) I really want to get the CNC fired back up soon, too. I need to do some simple, but custom signs, and look forward to using Carveco Maker again and all that stuff. I have been unable to find a source for Baltic birch over here in East TN though and that's a kicker to my CNC aspirations for signage. I really liked using that stuff.
Nice job â€
Thanks Sam! I appreciate your videos!
Glad you like them, thank you for the Super Thanks!

Good job Sam
Great job Sam. Take a simple project and with a little time and effort the finished product is hundreds of times better. Hope you're able to find a supplier with good quality products. Always enjoy your videos.
You have to be one of the most genuine creators I've run across on CZcams!! Thanks for your knowledge!!!
Thanks Anthony! It really means a lot to have a comment like this. I try to be genuine in all my videos, but never know if it comes across in the final show. Your comment made my day!
Really enjoy your videos Sam. My wife and I almost have our shop set up, we are learning a lot from you, thank you.
Great to hear!
Great information
I LOVE SAMCRAFT!
Sam, just wanted to say I have enjoyed your videos and your great attitude that comes across. As I am currently building my business, I love hearing from workers such as yourself. It's a boost of inspiration to keep me focused on the "Why" I want to do this and reminds me that good things are possible. Thank you!
I am truly glad to hear this. It really is at the core of why I make videos and what I want most from this channel - to inspire and help others!
Hello Sam, Barbara pitcher here. I am so excited, because I received my order from you today. I want to order 4 more sets for my children for Christmas gifts. Iâm so impressed with your work and attention to detail. They are awesome.
Just found your channel. I am new to lasers but recently bought some spoons similar to yours from Ikea.
Thanks for sharing. For the dust collection, get you a HVAC filter and put it on the intake side of that box fan and it will help out a lot.
Thank you for this update! I ordered 12 spoons to make for Christmas gifts and will be following your instructions to tbe letter!
Graham, where were you able to find the spoons? I've had no luck yet.
@@maggie9256 I ordered a set from Amazon but will be returning them. The "head" of the spoon is too small.
Thank you for the tips!
Happy to help!
Awesome đ đ đ
I went to Doller Tree today an bought 4 spoons and 4 forks to experiment on. Thanks for the great info.
Those are beautiful I have to order some tyfs
Great vid mate. Really enjoyed it. đ
Thanks!
Hi Sam I have watched all the videos regarding your move etc. but I'm glad you are back doing SamCraft
I watched the first version of this video and I still enjoyed this one also and found some more useful things. Unfortunately I don't have a laser yet but I have a picture of the Sainsmart Jinsoku LE-1620 next to my laptop ever since you did your video about the laser, so someday it will happen. Even at 73 I still love technology. Thank you for doing what you both do for our benefit.đ đđ
Thanks Roy!
So enjoyed seeing your process and the innovation you have brought to your craft. Itâs unique and practical!
This is my first time commenting because I usually watch on Roku and thereâs no way to make a comment there, or at least I havenât found it. I really enjoy all the videos with you and Angela and the boys. Have fun, and keep âem coming! đ„°
Thank you so much!
Beach wood aged wooden utensils đ€ great video đ»
Thank you Sam! My wife, son, and myself have purchased a laser engraver and we've really gotten a lot out of your videos and learned so much.
Great to hear! Thanks for letting me know.
I LOVE MY SPOON đ„° I just saw mine being madeđđ
That's so cool! I TRULY and genuinely appreciate your order from our small business!
Great video! †Thanks for sharing!
Do you have a video showing how you set your shop up off grid? I would love to see it!
Do you ever pre-sand all of your utensils ahead of time? Maybe you can do all of your sanding in one day. Then just grab what you need as you go and put them through the engraver and then finish your process. Just a thought.
Hello Same I wanted to say that I am really enjoying the Samcraft channel.
Thanks for taking the time to comment and let me know, I appreciate it!
Thanks Sam! You are the true example of business helping business. We all need to help each other. My motto has always been âsurround yourself with good people and good things happenâ. A while back your video encouraged me to buy the ortur which I love and am still learning. I finally bought the ortur cover which I wish I would have purchased right away. Did a couple orders and as I get better at using the software will be selling more. If I find a good manufacturer of wood products Iâll be sure to message you. God bless you brother and your family!
Oh yes, the metal enclosure is great!! You should also like the next video coming to my channel in about 10 mins. Hint, hint. ;) (11/9/2022)
Hey Sam, you could hang the utensils, on a small dowel, or piece of all-thread if straight is a concern. Then run the all-thread or dowel through the handles of the utensils. And hang the all-thread is dowel between the hooks on the shelf brackets over your tub of oil! Anyhow just a thought. Thanks for another great video my friend.. until next time..
Freaking Love This Guy!
i know this was a while ago but I appreciate the work you put into this. It gives me a better understanding of what to do for the future. Im still working on getting my stuff off the ground and its hard but one day I will. So ty for all that you do
Iâm happy it was helpful! These are always a great seller, especially on the holiday season.
@@Samcraftcom how did you get known? just curious what got you started?
Great video đ
Glad you enjoyed it
A couple of wholesalers for beechwood utensils I found were Down To Earth Distributors, Alibaba, and Faire. Although Faire does engraving as well. Donât know if will help you or not, but I love yâallâs channels and hope it helps.
Staff safe and God Bless.
Thanks for sharing these resources! I'll check into them. :)
Sam you should put a piece of saran wrap over that keyboard to help keep the dust out.
Nice!!
Awesome very interesting
Glad you think so!
Sam, you have some fantastic videos, entertaining, and super informative, I for one appreciate all you do. BTW you likely have helped with the decision to try some laser engraving, currently looking at the XTool D1 Pro 20W, kinda pricey but looks like a great machine. See you next time in the workshop!
I just got that one in my shop the other day! Only just assembled it, not even used it yet. Looking forward to it though. It's seemed to be the best one on the market for a while now.
I am so glad you are back in the Workshop. Even though I watched you on the Homestead channel I missed SamCraft. Thank you for all you do! Thank you for sharing.
I'm happy to be back in here, too! I've got to be careful not to neglect the channels, but it's nice to spread them out a little. :)
@@Samcraftcom Now all I have to do is give attention to my channel. That one lonely post is feeling neglected.
It is such a pain to remember to setup a camera rather than play with my Shapeoko.
Ohh there's a homestead channel? I'm going to go find it. Just starting a small homestead myself.
@@k10ishere Link to the homestead channel is in the description of this video. He has started a new channel on "Off Grid" solar power I think it is called the Juicer, Sam, you need to add that link to the list.
@@k10ishere That there is. :) Here's the channel link: czcams.com/users/greenacrehomestead
For the laser freaking out issue get a UPS (CyberPower or APC) for the laser. That will clean the signal up and also give you some extra time running if needed a light, tablet and laser will only use 100-130 watts.
I was getting ready to say this..
I was thinking the same thing!
Always enjoy ur video's
I appreciate that
i ENJOYED THIS VIDEO VERY MUCH. i AM RETIRED FROM AT&T AND HAVE DONE WOODWORK BEFORE BUT I AM ALMOST 80 YEARS OLD AND HAVE ARTHIRITIS VERY BAD AND UNABLE TO DO VERY MUCH.
