Thank you so much for sharing your videos. As an accountant for over 15 years and a CPA over 6 years, I have been seriously considering working for myself. I enjoy logic puzzles, solving problems, learning and teaching. I am also wanting to venture out due to drastic work environment concerns these last few years. I'm a motivated self-starter and always thrive on feeling like I make a difference. Hi Veronica,
I realize I missed a lot of expenses and use wrong tax code in last year book. I believe this also result in wrong tax return. My intention is to add/fix those transaction and file a tax adjustment. But after your video, I realized I made a huge mistake of change the balance in QBO. Since I haven't close the book in QB, I can't export a report of all the changes. What should I do now? I'm panicking now! please advise !!!

It might be best if you work with a qualified bookkeeper to help you get your books in order. You may also want to consult a tax professional so that they can help you decide if it's worth it for you to amend your tax return.

Hello! I am so glad I found your channel :) Could you please give some advice in this matter. My client is messing up with the books. The owner has one person and he pays to that person using transfers - the owner sends money from his own business account to his own personal account (the same bank), and then sends money via Zelle to that person. How to record this in QBO?? To show as a business expense. Amounts are small, the total amount of all transactions as of now is approximately $800. Thank you in advance!

If the owner is paying a contractor, it should be recorded as contractor expense.

Is there any program or person that you know of trains one on one or in real time to help one get started?

There are several training programs for bookkeepers, but to my knowledge they are all video based and don't include live or real-time training. Take a look at Bookkeepers.com, Universal Accounting Center.
