Just so you know makeup manufacturers have 3 years on the self so the batch code is for the self life date so 3 years until they can seek it the date to be used when opened is the number so the the powder bare minerals the batch code is 3 years and when open you have 12 months before it becomes out of date I don’t know if explain that right most batch code are to make sure the products aren’t in the ware house more then 3 years before being sold hope this helps like so maya can see love you girl xx

It doesnt matter when it was manufactured or what the little pot says they are only based off of when you open it hense why the little pot is always open never closed

I just checked the websites out and I searched up an eyeliner I got from TK Maxx only just this year and it was manufactured in 2010 🤮 (binning it right now)

that doesn't exactly mean it's old. different products use the same batch code, so it's unlikely it's that old

I’m a bit confused. Couldn’t the people from the car boot sale have bought it brand new and then didn’t like it so put it in a car boot sale . They may not have used it or had it long they may have just put it in there. Was this app to see when the product was made? Because some brands keep making the same products for a while so it could still have been brand new . I was just a bit confused ❤️
It's to see when that specific product was manufactured, not the entire line of products, so eg it's that specific bottle of foundation, not every bottle of foundation they make xx
