    I've already bought a Ram 1500 Bighorn crew cab, 5.7L Hemi V8 about a month ago, but I keep coming back to these review videos, that is how much I *LOVE* this truck! Lol I know it's silly 😌

      @@rainmanjr8044 well now that you mention it.. I still don't know what everything does and how things work. It took me a long time to realize the freaking tailgate locks and unlocks using the electronic key fob. Then there's the light controls in back, which I finally found in the manual, plus the round button on the seat that doesn't seem to do anything but should give a whole bunch of additional controls for the seat. I *love* the steering wheel mounted controls! That, coupled with the pass through view of the smaller monitor duplicating information from the touchscreen makes it much safer to glance at the many available system status checks rather than reaching over to the larger touchscreen.
      I know people laugh at me for saying this, but I don't break the speed limit anywhere while driving, which is far outside my historical driving behavior. I simply enjoy this truck so much I don't want to get where I'm going too quickly and end my fun! Overall, the only thing I am willing to consider trading it in, or selling it for later on, is to buy another one with even more goodies built into it!

    Picked up my 2019 Ram Bighorn two weeks ago. I've been my own mechanic my entire driving life, but no more. These trucks run and drive more like a sports sedan and the 5.7L Hemi is one badass engine that easily pushes you back into your seat with very little foot into the pedal. The company sure has dialed in the exhaust for a perfect growl when you want and extreme quiet cruising when you want as well. The only thing I would ever offload my truck for is another one years from now

  • @Jisstifer83626

    My favorite Easter egg on this truck is the four generations of Rams in the center console. A simple nod that they didn't have to do but just adds a little bit of heritage to the truck.

    I loved filming this truck. I was surprised to see them arriving earlier than anticipated. While this is not one of the high-level Laramie models, it is still really nicely equipped and a great overall view of what will probably be the most common trim.

    I was looking to buy a truck soon, and made a mistake to ignore 2019 ram 1500. Me and wife test drove the 5.0 and 3.5 f150 and were considering checking out the Silverado as the other option. We were next to a ram dealership and drove this puppy just for a feel. But man it was an eye opener. It showed that truck interior can be more than uhaul truck kind. We are so impressed with this truck in and out. Wow

    I've rented one of these for a week to see if I want to purchase one and so far it's been a nice experience. I'm concerned about the electronic turn style shift knob, I wonder if they are built to last? It has plenty of power and lots of room in n the front and back. It steers like a car and the ride is so smooth. I currently own a King ranch dually, 2015 model, and I just don't need a one ton anymore so this might be my next pickup.

    I have a 2016 Big Horn Quad cab and the 19 looks impressive. However, I know its a redesign but it doesnt seem like they upgraded much. I know the Hemi can come with the etorque system, but all in all, its the same truck as the previous generation if you really think about it. Trust me, Im not trying to sound envious but I really dont think they did much other than change the interior and exterior. Wheres the real improvement?

    • @NeighborhoodCarReviews
      @NeighborhoodCarReviews  Před 6 lety +2

      The real improvements are in body and chassis strength. They also greatly improved ride and handling as well as eliminated a lot of Noise, Vibration and Harshness. Inside is a lot of ergonomics and materials quality improvements. There’s actually a lot. I’d recommend going online and downloading a brochure. It’s full of all the improvements on the truck.

    • @mowcowbell
      @mowcowbell Před 5 lety

      I test drove a '19 a few weeks ago that was equipped exactly the same as the truck in this review. The active noise cancellation system really makes for a quiet ride, and the active dampeners smooth the ride even more than the previous generation. Many reviews state this truck rides like a luxury sedan and I'd have to agree with those reviews.
