I literally can NOT watch any other ASMR artist. There's not one other artist that makes me feel like Maria does. True story: my dog was laying in my lap getting jealous of this video. Every time I would turn my attention to the video my dog (a Jack Russell/Beagle mix) would start making little barking noises and pawing me. So I took my ear buds out and placed my Kindle near my dog's ear. Within 30 seconds her eyes started fluttering and within two minutes she was snoring. Maria's magic works on all creatures great and small.

I randomly came back to this video after not seeing it for month. Something told me to search and watch it. I never knew why until the end. I got fired from a company i really loved. What you said "things that you really want, are possibly not good for you" it really spoke to me. This job that I may love and want back, wasn't at all good for me. I just wanted to thank you for your wisdom. Even if you never see this.
I'm sure others have probably suggested it but as someone who has pretty bad panic attacks often I thought i'd ask if you've thought about doing a video for people currently in the midst of a panic? Like a breathe with me + positive affirmations kind of video? It seems every time I have a panic attack I feel like I'm the biggest disappointment and burden on others, and a lot of the time I feel very alone with my panics which can be extremely scary. Your content brings me a lot of comfort and I really have to deeply thank you for that

may i recommend dr claire weekes books and audios. not asmr, but they helped me tonnes with my anxiety and panic attacks which were severe!! now i rarely have them! as her books are old they aren't in bookstores now, but ebay and amazon have them, as do many libraries! you can google dr claire weekeds free audios and find her audios available free to download from mental health sites. i hope this helps you.

I have depressive episodes on and off, and videos like this make me really really happy and at peace with myself. Maria is just about the only asmrtist who comes off as having genuine care about the audience. These sorts of whisper videos are so relaxing and calming, and the mix of whispering, other soft sounds and silence is such a great formula, especially the silence and then the slow increase in volume to a whisper. She is an artist in her craft.
My mind became so relaxed i literally started to laugh and it felt amazing. So thanks for that very much so

I have struggled with falling asleep at night for a very long time. To the point I literally dreaded when it was bed time. I discovered sleep asmr then I found gentle whispering with Maria and it has helped me tremendously. I can watch/listen to you at night and it is all I can do to get off the couch to go to my bed. I have taken Ambien (sleep aid) in the past and it can't even compare to the "drowsiness" I feel when I listen to you..which is nightly. I always put my cell phone on the charger before I go to bed...now I have to do it before I listen to gentle whispering because a few times I have been so relaxed and sleepy I don't even think about it! This is awesome! Thank you for all the time you devote to doing these wonderful videos.

I've watched most of your videos but I never commented out of sheer lack of courage, imagining it won't really make a difference for you, but in this one I have to comment. In two days I have my driving exam, I'm unsure how it works outside Brazil (and for that also forgive sloppy english), but in here is quite expensive and you can't make more than one mistake on the exam without being rejected and having to pay everything again and restart from the beginning, even the theoric classes and the writing test, which all take very long and cost a lot of money, that I don't really have. I'm very nervous as I'm naturally an anxious person and I'm struggling with chronic depression, I was crying over it when I saw you had a new video, and I'm not only in love with flowers, as I love tarot, and of course I can rely completely on the tarot reading, given the shifts of energy from being so distance and through a screen, but my major problem in my driving classes was my speed and anxiety to finish it. Keeping slow & steady may help out a lot, as well as your words, Maria, so thank you so much for your kindness and patience and for this video, amongst many others. You're my favorite, and I'm so, so thankful... ♥
