I've been working on this the past week during late night study breaks, I used a smaller hook and the super thin yarn for lace crochet & simply used more stitches. I LOVE IT! It looks very delicate and feminine. Just finished and I'm super excited! Thanks for posting this!

for people enquiring on increases, i have mild ocd and cant just stick in an increase, with lots of experimenting and 5 restarts i found that when i made a circle and put 12 long treble crochets with a chain between (yarn over 3 times instead of 1 for double crochet then treat like double crochet pulling through 2 each time) then proceed in circle as video shows, it stays mostly flat with a gentle curve.

I love this pattern !! I have made several with sock yarn and different sized hooks and chain lengths and my daughter loves them all. Polo wool yarn works amazingly as well. When I use regular 4 ply I use a small hook so the stitches are small and it looks great as well but takes a bit longer. Thanks Fayme for the tutorial I am gonna make a few with pearls and beads next.

I'm working at the Renaissance Fair this year and made one on these. It was my second attempt. The first one just didn't seem to turn out right, but I tried again and everything clicked. Can't wait to ware it with my costume.
I cheated a bit though. Instead of a draw string all the way around, I sewed mine to one of those plastic hair bands. Then I attached two scraps of thin ribbon to the tips the hair band and wove it through on either side to make a draw string for the bottom half the snood. It looks nice and it stays put when you move around.

Very nice tutorial. Don't know what the negative comments are all about. I understood easily what you were doing and I've just barely started crocheting. Anyone who doesn't understand needs to watch a few newbie crocheting videos first. I'm going to make a few of these for gifts. Thanks!

I am a beginner at crochet and had no problems understanding your tutorial. I have already made 4 of these for my daughter and she loves them. I made one with sparkly red yarn, one with sparkly gold yarn, one from a thicker taupe colored yarn, and one from a variegated yarn. They all came out cute and are such fun to make. Thank you so much for posting this tutorial. I love it when you said "I am in the mood for a snood", that makes me laugh and I quote it while crocheting this pattern.
