White balance is the first step to reducing flicker. Idk if anyone has said that. Also wear a consistent color of shirt and pants so the intense light cast by your studio bulbs doesn't bounce and cause color cast.
Imagine what this personality and character this guy could pour in to a modern day Mega construx Halo figure. The flexibility. The detail. The durability, imagine it. Just as a side thing. Not replacing his OC.

look at the buttons, look at the lenses.... man that movement made me laugh. :) As did the whooshing about on the Wacom holding the pen. Your animation style is fantastic. And Mega Bloks/Construx mini-figures really are awesome ain't they? So much articulation in a 2 inch figure. I collect the Masters of the Universe line (and got a ton of the 80s and 2016 movie Ninja Turtles some of the other single pack stuff like Fry & Bender, Picard, Kratos, Dutch, Predator, Terminator etc)

I have that exact folding desk lamp, i swear to you i have never turned it off in 6+ years, still works like a champ. Descent light for propagating plants too.
