Richa is so underrated as a vocalist
Bollywood hasnt utilised her full capability yet
Judging their track record, we should be grateful for that
if ur comparison/standard is lataji, ashaji, & alka yagnik, then everyone is "underrated".
Otherwise. shes one of the most celebrated & respected playback singers with so many hit songs.
India is the only country where we expect singers to have 5000+ songs to be seen as successful.

What are you listening to is a peak Bhajan/Jagran Singer. In the first performance she is utilising her years of jagran singing to hold the attention, entertain your audience and dazzle with her charisma.
And as Weleska said, she can sing for hours, well yes she can. A jagaran or bhajan sandhya can go from 6 in the evening to 6 am next morning.
And you need a lot more than just good singing to stay on stage for that long.
Her stage presence is also witness to her years of experience.

You got it right. This is why its difficult for majority of us Indians to like Kpop or some general English songs coz we already have such great singers, and the standards are set too high.
Foreign songs are good too, but they cant bring that musical peace which Indian singer do, be it in any of the Indian languages.
