I spent 12 years flying around the world. It really boosts your confidence, making it easier to chat to people. I either go on holiday with a friend or on my own. In all honesty, I prefer going on holiday on my own. Go to bed when I want, wake up whenever I want, eat when I want etc etc etc. I’m not into the dating thing when im on holiday, but when I was younger it was so much easier on my own as I didn’t have to worry about a friend getting back etc. Anyway, good vlog!

What a pretty view from your stay! Sorry your stay is so short and you can't appreciate that terrace more. Sucks that all of the fun tours are sold out :( but at least you can see the outside. Maybe another time! Can't wait to make it to Rome some day- looks like such a beautiful city.

Really enjoying these beautiful vlogs. It takes me back to being there. Crazy that everything was sold out. Good to know for future and will definitely book in advance, especially if its a holiday. American tourons are hard to stomach, I remember being in Vatican City and seeing a lot of handwritten graffiti on walls within the Vatican, a sacred beautiful place. It was shocking and vile. Fortunate to be raised to respect and to find joy in assimilating to the culture of wherever you go. It's an amazing way to learn something new and experience a different way of life.
Hi Vera! I relate to you when it comes to the puffiness. You're symptoms sound like you might be hypothyroid or have hashimoto's. I do and it's from a demanding lifestyle and irregular sleep cycles. Possibly adrenal fatigue. Rome is beautiful from your view! Safe travels home!
Your Air B&B was cute. We were in Rome last year but I fell and fractured my ankle, so I stayed in the hotel for 3 days while my husband took in all the sites. Love your content! ✈✈

I do enjoy Rome and thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 vlogs. There is lots to see and the food is incredible. Sorry you missed out on Sistine and Colosseum but it sounds like you will be back for sure to do those things (Did you toss a coin into trevi? If so, you will be back for sure). You will get bad tourists from anywhere everywhere you go, I think a key thing that most tourists don't do is to try and learn how the culture is in the country they are going to. The washer next to the bidet though!

I just got back today from a solo Mexico City trip. It was only my second solo trip and I’ve realized that I really prefer traveling with company. Maybe I need to find a girls travel group to join
Dude that’s exactly why whenever I travel outside of the US on my personal time, people are always like “I wouldn’t think you’re American!” 😟 pls I’m so embarrassed at how other Americans travel 😫😭. At work I prefer to do domestic trips cause it’s just a huge hassle otherwise

you look like an italian girl, unless you're wearing the ugg boots or clogs, that'll be a giveaway. there is that "vulgar american" thing people do when they travel out of the country, but I've been thinking that most people just can't be that bad, but then a friend of mine said something funny. it's actually canadian behaving badly. :)
lol well it was definitely an American couple but I met others that were very polite and not obnoxious while I was there thankfully. I actually was told a couple times that they thought I was Italian! I get that a lot of places I go in Europe though idk why.
