My problem with ladles is often storage. The curved handles, like the winning non-stick-friendly, don’t play well in a drawer or a crock. I like my straight-handled Di Oro…even if it’s a bit steep of an angle
Looks like it's gonna be the Cuisinart for me when I need a new one. The Rösle has that hook at the end which might be good for hanging off a utensil rack or inside a tall pot, but I keep my utensils in a utensil holder, with the business end up. Having that hook at the bottom of the tool bucket, it's bound to pull some other utensils out when I'm trying to get it. A little too Vaudeville for my setup.
I got a ladle from HomeGoods for $7 and saw the flaw so bent the handle to 45%..
Works great!!
Thanks for the tip!
All the single ladles put your handles up! 😂
I bought the Rosle years ago and have never regretted spending the money.
Haha. B. Lancaster with the ladle and soup jokes is perfect.
Ever since I switched to carbon steel and stainless steel cookware, I no longer have to worry about scratching nonstick coatings.
Can vouch for the Roslè. A BIFL ladle.
I have a traditional label bought at a restaurant supply store which is similar to the winner . But another great option not included above is a canning ladle- rigid, plastic, deep shaped bowl great for pouring into jars (funnel or no funnel), plus goes tight into dishwasher or easy handwashing. (I bought it after using & wearing out your awesome canning cookbook. Now on copy 2)
I worked in a restaurant for years and the ones we used are shaped different. I love how they scoop and pour. You can get them at restaurant supply stores and food service stores. They scoop the bottom of the pot better and don't make a many messes. I'll never go back.
Thanks guys! Love Adam and these two ladies❣️😘🙏
I have been looking for a “perfect” ladle, thanks team for the reviews. I purchased a Rosle garlic press many years ago and still LOVE it!
I kept misreading this as "The Best Ladies" and wondered why...🤔

Keep it up im inpressed
I keep reading the title as "The Best Ladies" lmao
Whats the problem with a ladle with two spouts on the side?
There's four-ish directions to use. The handle kills one option. Opposite the handle is weird. One side is good for righties the other for lefties I presume.
I was thinking the same thing.
bought 2 of the cheap ones using the link. $6.99 each, free delivery. Sold!!!!!
I like the square bowl for skimming fat, and the pour out of the corner is just fine.
Can you give us a link to the Cuisinart one? I thought it wasn’t available anymore.
I thought the title said "the best ladies" lolll
My mom has a Cutco ladel she got in the 70s and I love it. It's a perfect 1/2 cup and a great angle. I just checked their website and to buy it new would be $62. Ouch
$38.50 for a ladle? Go to your local restaurant supplier store and get one. For that price you can probably get 2 or 3 in different sizes and have more options and flexibility with whatever your needs or tasks are.
And then bend them to all manner of angles!
can you do something on hard boiled egg slicers, eggs always stick to mine.
I read that as the best ladies.
Yep 😂
Adam is so great 💙🙌
Thanks for the ear worm. lol Happy to know I have a good ladle.
For me, I need a handle that's not too long with a covering. There isn't anything more scary than touching a metal handle that's been sitting in a hot pot. xP
Forks, spoons, ladles, and things touching a pot, I feel your pain
The key is to not leave it in the pot.
@@angelbulldog4934 *face palm*
@@Sakana_Ren Kinda the same for me reading your comment about the handle getting hot. The cure is painfully obvious.
Why are you leaving the ladle in the pot? Scoop out your soup, then lay down the ladle OUTSIDE the pot.
The Last One I Got It At The Dollar Store
I thought this said, "The Best Ladies".
Hello guys ❣️😘🙏
Wooden ladel?
Hey Ladles!
It all depends how deep yer pot is !
I love my Martha Stewart square ladle. However, the handle kills my hand.
Bridget couldn't look more bored. Ladles aren't exciting, true, but they are kitchen tools that are used often!
Ladle is such a wonderfully weird word
Meet the Rosle ladle - it has the perfect angle
I want to move away from plastic cookware where possible, but wouldn’t a steel ladle scratch the bottom of an enamelled dutch oven? That’s what I usually use for my soups and stews.
You'd have to get pretty rough with it. The risk with metal on enamel is more if you're banging on it or digging at it with a sharp edge. I usually use wood when I don't want to use metal, but silicone is better for some things and can be molded into thinner shapes.
I looked at that title 3 times before I realized it was the best ladles, not the best ladies.
I use whatever my mom passed down to me
Took me a minute to see it wasn't a review for the best ladies. I need new glasses. Also, a bit disappointed
NO SOUP FOR YOU.
What's up with Bridget, she looked so annoyed today.
Unbelievable how many people can't even spell ladle and still believe we're interested in what they have to say about the tool.
$38 for a ladle? We’re a pretty disgusting country sometimes.
?? To which country are you referring?
I just a good amount from the state lottery a month back
Glad I found something to buy now
