I had prostate surgery and I literally just removed mine. I removed mine in the shower once you deflate the ballon it starts to fall out on its own. The warm water in my opinion helps loosen up the dry edges of the cath which made it easier to get a good start. I did the whole 1,2,3 pull and moan and it took 4 seconds and no pain but you feel the movement. Honestly guys it’s a mental thing it’s not painful at all just a different sensation. You got this

Update- I had mine removed and there was no pain at all and was out in less than 5 seconds. Still having some bladder spasms after my urolift but not as bad as when foley was in. Hope that helps ease someone's mind.

Did it burn for a while after you got it out when u would pee?
I have one in for an enlarged prostate, being removed in-office in a few days. Bladder twice the normal size because of it. Was verrrry painful going in because catheter had to be pushed through the enlarged prostate, which had to be dialated, but this video is great, seeing that it's not painful coming out. Thank God!

I suppose it depends on the specific person, but ive had a few foleys in my day (and will be removing one tomorrow, actually), and its really not as bad a s some of you in the comments seem to make it sound. Unless you do it wrong.
