Top notch video as always. I live in Australia and it's dirt cheap here at $175 AUD which equates to $90 pounds. I love this set. I think you hit the nail on the head when you said there is a lot controversy around the set. Coupled with a big print run and surrounded by the best sets of swsh it's become underated or underappreciated.
My favourite looking booster box by far. Good future investment but you will have to wait longer to see the same gains as chilling reign and brilliant stars for eg.

Super slept on set. The challenge with this set was the lack of popular trainer galleries & conspiracy with hit distribution, very spot on.
However, i think this set on the flip side, has affordable alternate arts in this current market and should be bought before they sky rocket in price. Gengar will hold up as one of the best alt arts in the SW/SH era no doubt, this will go up and continue to be one of the best cards from that era. Also, fantastic sealed investment. The box art pops really nice, and has Mew right on the front & i aim to see this box gain higher reception down the road.

Hey, personally, yes. They typically do come down a fair bit. Do what youbfeel is right, but I've been burned a few times overpaying for stuff and if I were in your position, I'd wait. Usually around 2 years is the best time to see if a card is worth investing in, but if for PC, I'd say about 6-8 months is probably the sweet spot between value and having something want relatively close to release. Yeah for sure. I have a reel on it up.on my insta but it was from before the 100k reprint was announced. Honestly, it looks like you'll be able to get it for next to nothing again at some point soon but I'll add it to the list.
My son pulled the Espeon VMAX and Sylveon VMAX alt art out of a leafeon vstar box. We opened a three booster boxes of fusion strike before that and the best thing we got was a Mew v alt art

Yes, the set is horrible for pull rates . I don't see why someone would waste their money on this set the future, when you can just buy the card you want. Also, there are better sets to invest in.
Quick question, I’m new this. Let’s your 5y predictions are right - 100 for etb, 470 for booster box. How can there be such a difference in price? Given a etb has 10 packs and a BB 36, it would be cheaper to just buy 4 ETB , saving 70 AND getting 4 more packs in the process. Is this normal? Why is that? Thoughts?
the ETBs don't have 10 packs, check your numbers
Because it’s not about the number of packs but the sealed product itself
If you want packs then yeh there will be cheaper options but if you want the sealed booster box you will pay a premium

because both an ETB and a BB are sealed products consisting of sealed packs.
Hey, great question. You will typically see somewhere in the region of a 10 to 15% variance on modern from cost per pack when going through different products. It's not always the case, but in this instance, the regular ETB has 8 packs while booster box has 36. I think they're are a lot more ETB out there than booster boxes so I applied a variance in favour of the booster box. For OC ETB I went lower even though there are more packs because I genuinely don't think it will be that sought after. I could be wrong, but just my best guess. Thank you so much for watching!

Because of the extremely low pull rates & the scandal of stolen cards I struggle to see the vaule in Fusion Strike or Evolving Skies. But I do think in almost any set 3 pack blisters will always be a great investment! Especially with Espeon as a promo! Eeveelutions will always be highly sought-after.

They will, its hard to gauge vintage rn since the hype around modern in so high. Hold on to them, keep them safe & check the market every year or so 🎉

it depends on your perspective.. if you're merely collecting, then buying single is hands down the best option.. but if you're investing, then sealed booster box is the choice as the sealed box is increasing in value and can get you great profit in the future
