I decided with this album to upload the entire thing to my channel in its original form and length, since it's simultaneously also my first 1-hour long compilation video centered around Nordic/Viking music. Because of the fact that the whole album is essentially available for free right here I want to thank everybody who still goes and buys the album even more than usual, it really means a lot to me to receive that kind of support from you guys. I’m posting the usage rights and important information about my music right here in a comment on every new video so that they’re easily accessible to everyone. =)
USAGE:
If your project (any project at all, movie, photography, websites, live shows etc.) is non-commercial, which means it doesn't earn you any money, then you can use my music for free. Only given credits are necessary, that's the only condition. Credits would be totally fine as a small text in the movie, website etc. written "Music by Adrian von Ziegler". In live shows and other projects where including a text would be difficult, an oral mention would suffice as well. =)
On CZcams and twitch you can also use my music for free even if you monetize your videos by the way!
ANY school projects have automatic free permission to use my music, no license payment is required.
If the project is commercial, meaning it makes money in any way (except CZcams and twitch, see above), you would have to buy a license for the music you want to use. The license payment would be small in almost all cases except for big budget productions. It would be a one-time payment, so you can use the music you bought forever in that project. It does not give you any rights over the music however, so remixing the music, re-selling it etc. is not allowed.
Giving credits is also necessary in commercial projects.
Please note that "for free" only applies to the usage license. Music is my full-time job and is where 100% of my earnings come from. So no matter what you use my music for, whether it's commercial or non-commercial use, I appreciate that you purchase the music instead of downloading it for free. Many people misunderstand this part so I need to clear this up. I love making music, but if everyone would just get it for free I would not be able to pay rent, so please understand. It was always my dream to make enough money to survive with music being my only job, and that is only possible because of people who go and buy that music.
Remixing, sampling and other forms of altering the original song into a new piece of music is also generally not allowed unless the remix is 100% non-commercial and labelled with the original title and author of the song (me). Adding bird noises, nature sounds or similar things are allowed. Nightcore alterations are also allowed while non-commercial and labelled with original title and author (Google "Nightcore" in case of confusion).
So if your project is non-commercial or a CZcams project, just give credits and there is nothing holding you back from using my songs. ANY song you want. =) If it's commercial stuff just write me a personal message or an email at adrianvonziegler@gmx.ch and inform me about the scale and details of the project and we'll make a deal.
REQUESTED MUSIC:
I have recently made a very good experience with collaborating with other artists and am now - carefully - open to requests. Please note before sending me a request that any agreement will have to assure me a high level of control and independence over the composing process and certain copy- and intellectual rights over any composition that has been created on request (this entails for example that I can still upload and sell any music that I composed for a given project).
Important:
I do not allow my music to be used in any project that has a clear political, racist or discriminatory message or is pornographic. By that I mean anything that goes from direct political, racist or discriminatory videos or underlining speeches with my music, onto remixing my melodies into a song that has lyrics with clear political, racist or discriminatory message and similar things that clearly promote these things. Same goes for explicit pornography. Media with nude art is allowed, if not pornographic in nature and purpose.

@@timecat8534 i wholeheartedly agree but there are a few exceptions. Some very few people are able to remain humble and to not change who they are, regardless of what their persona becomes. Those are the true great ones in my eyes. Though no one is great and we’re all mediocre at best.

Greetings from Morocco to all those people.You guys should show your culture more and more, an make the world know about your history.
We are trying to reclaim our heritage the left is making it hard though.
i could literally talk with you about this for hours upon hours i have quite the spectrum of knowledge of the history traditions and cultural construction of the cultures, the men in my family spend most of our live looking for gathering and compiling our nordic, gaelic and celtic cultures but it is very difficult as those three cultures were decimated and the left is trying to keep them that way.
are you yourself interested in learning about them i can talk about the history and culture for hours upon hours and most of it you cannot learn in mere history classes

I'm actually very interested in and open towards every culture there possibly exists but it's a shame we don't learn a lot about our own heritages... Michael Morris Find someone who knows the game and participate in his game or read dungeon master’s handbook dnd player’s handbook and find some friends. In my school there is a club completely dedicated to this kind of stuff and they say “it does not matter if your game is bad at first, it’ll improve over the time and experience”.
@@michaelmorris739 No prob. I'd find the Player's Handbook at a library or a store. If you're really planning to get involved then go to D&D Beyond. You can get all the books for like $400 dollars. If you want to DM, I'd get the Monster Manual, Dungeon Master's Guide, and a few bags of dice (5-10). I'd try a local gamestore or club to find advice from people. There's also tons on line. I hope that answers your question.

It's very interesting to listen to this as a Scandinavian person because the words have meaning, which enhances the feel of the music even further.
I cannot tell how long I've been listening to your music but I started in class 11 and right now I'm finishing my bachelor degree. Everytime I have to study or when I'm working on something for uni, I listen to your music. It helps me concentrate while I work and helps me relax whenever I take a break. I used to play a game called Age of Mythology, and there was a campaign where you play as the Norsemen/Vikings. I really enjoyed it and found the culture intriguing.

I'm writing a story set in the future on Mars and yet this is making my imagination soar to new heights. Excellent job on the vocals in this . I watched this show called LEXX and the warrior would sing his death battle song. I love guttural vocals, chanting like this. @@hanz3967 Can you elaborate? I don't necessarily disagree. It's obviously anti-Christian propaganda and the creator is a jew, but other than that, you have any insight? I'd like to hear it. For me, the most ridiculous part of the show was when Floki refused to slaughter the muslims praying in a mosque in one of the later seasons. The most devoted worshipper of Odin who hated Christians more than anyone for some inexplicable reason had to spare those poor muslims. It's funny because the guy is Swedish and they basically worship muslims in Sweden and hate Christianity.
