Fly Fishing MD Creeks for Micro Species!

- In this episode I head to a local creek with only my fly rod and I spend the day fly fishing Maryland creeks for micro species. I used the dry dropper rig, but mostly caught my fish on the dry fly. I caught mostly fall fish and some sunfish but still had a lot of fun catching micro fish in a beautiful MD creek.

3:10 those juviniles are tricky to ID. But from the looks of it and the fact that you haven't caught any adult creek chubs, I think it's most likely a fallfish. Nice video!

You should! And yeah I only caught one of the bandido bug, but couldn’t catch a fish on the frog. It was nice seeing you maybe we can all fish together one day. You started early!

Where did you get that floatant stuff for your dry fly?
I bought it at Bass Pro shops . There is a small fly fishing section. I think any fly shop should have it. There are lots of companies that make it👍🏽
