3:23 personally when i use the curve tool i go to the max of what i want even if it looks bad then lower the opacity of the adjustment layer till my liking lmao

Quick question, how much layers is needed for most of these? I just put all my flat colors in one layer, then shading on another, then lastly lighting on another, but the tutorial seems to use like, fifty plus. Where and how do you use the blending modes in situations like that?
