In 1976 I worked at Marvin K. Brown Cadillac in San Diego. We had one of these on the showroom floor. The thought at the time was funeral parlors might be interested in these for flower cars. It was a lot easier to load the flowers from the funeral service into an open bed and run out to the cemetery and arrange them at the graveside. And yes, the inside of the bed was fiberglass on the one we had.
I thought about that in the first video when you said it was on its way to get the sunroof put in because ASC which was in Detroit Michigan did all the sunroofs for General Motors as well as T-tops so that makes sense
I do not market any of my classics on my site. I sell them on Bring a Trailer online auction site and market them here on CZcams. If you'd like a more in depth explanation of that you are always welcome to call me! Thanks! Bill 843 294 7777

It's made by a coach company. It's not authorized by gm It's not anything that can't be re created. It's actually worth less than the stock car. I had a 1982 Datsun 200sx custom convertible and an 86 honda crx convertible. Also customized by a coach company. They have zero blue book value. I got the Datsun for free and the crx for $100

I am so surprised Sergio has not contacted you yet on this Cadimino! This is so right up his alley!!
We are negotiating on the 3,000 mile New Yorker I just got in.
@@christianbugatticg This one could be the start of another mutiple sale to Sergio.
Try to get him interested, a once in a lifetime chance.🙂

Thanks for sharing that! This is a real metal bed from what would have been a brand new El Camino of the time.

A rare chance to own one of these conversions.
With only 18 made, your chances of finding another one in this condition will be slim.
You are correct!
😂 18 made. My step grandparents neighbors had 3 rotting away in their driveway in reno. I haven't been there since 2007 tho

That's a cagillac flower car
This is not a flower car. This was a custom coach built hybrid with an Elcamino. Not a fiberglass back. 18 of these were produced
