I just bought this and the ps5 so fun including miles morales also ghost of tsushima is so fire
Between this and Arkham series, i love the logic of "as long as you are not killing them, you can shatter every bone in their body and give permanent brain damage."
Least with spiderman if you throw someone off a roof he webs them up to stop them... and then they get hit with the existential dread that it'll disappear in a few hours or minutes in the rain.
Technically you aren't killing them they just land safely on the ground when you jump them off the roof the logic is just insane honestly.

Fun fact, if you kick someone off the roof and go look they'll actually wind up webbed to the building, as Spdey tosses down a gadget so they don't die.

Yet kicking them in the head hard enough to fly back ten feet or so can break their neck, followed by slamming a sewer lid into someone's face at high speed. You can't lift those by yourself, they weigh so much. He just had his skull cracked open.

Actually every time spiderman knocks someone of a building he puts a web bomb on them to web them to the side of the building. If you follow them you can see them web to the wall, so not only do they start to free fall they also get violently yanked towards a concrete wall.
Yep and then the police have to figure how to prize a criminal off the side of 56'th floor of a skyscraper.

If you wanna 100% it I recommend 100% it on a easier difficulty, and then replaying the game on ultimate on NG+. Ultimate with NG+ is way too easy

This game is in my top 3 favorite Spiderman games. (1. Spiderman PS5 2. Ultimate Spiderman PS2 3. Tobey Maguire Spiderman 1 PC). I played each one nonstop lol 😂. Also I really hope they give a remastered edition of ultimate Spider-Man. That comic series is amazing. The art style and the story is really awesome.

My favourite thing to do in this game was tie the enemies up and fling them off the buildings to their inevitable doom.
I just imagine a city where regular people have to worry about Spider-Man launching bodies off of rooftops which end up landing on their cars.

I didn't really care for spiderman, even thought it was kinda lame, but after beating this game I considered myself a fan. The game was that good. Swinging around the city and fighting bad guys was really fun
It's good, but I don't love it as much as other people. And I know saying it's okay gets more hate from people saying it's amazing or overated.
Personally, I wished the traversal required more input to the player and combat was deeper. I really miss a dedicated climb button. But I get why people call it great. I play a lot and my standards for greatness are very different from most
@@teneesh3376 the combat is deep 😂 you just fight simple as hell you have a huge variety you can air fight swing kick throw things do a air smash nd do takedowns and use gadgets to plan out your fight all you do is probably dodge attack dodge attack you make the combat fun or u can be boring as hell
@@Young_Wrath it's really not though. A lot of the gadgets are mainly a push to win scenario. And playing and the hardest difficulty, it's still relatively easy compared to things like Devil May Cry, Yakuza or God Hand. Cause after a while, it does basically become mind numbing bog standard combat.
But not to say it can't be more interesting. It just needs better enemy design. My favourite fights in the game is the Vulture and Electro fight and the first fight of the 3rd dlc fight. Where there are flying enemies, so you need to swing and fight and the same time. Blending traversal and combat together. Wish the entire game was more focused on that type of fighting and enemy design instead of just normal goons
@@teneesh3376 I understand what your saying and what you said I agree with the traversal fights are awesome but it does look like insomniac has listened to these kind of criticisms with Spider-Man 2 so I hope you give the second one a shot and they fix a lot you didn’t like
@@sheatisdale1471 they probably won't. I mean from the looks of it, there still ain't not dedicated climb button. That's the biggest thing for me. Could have the the auto climb as an accessibility option you can toggle off or on in the options. They aren't privy to more options

I just got a PS5 today for my birthday. I upgraded my game from the original game to spiderman remastered and it’s currently downloading. Can’t wait to play it! Don’t get me wrong, but the new remastered design of Peter is better in my opinion. It sorta catches the kind of Andrew Garfield/Tom Holland design and I love it. Old Peter is great too I just love the design of the new one.
Personally went with the Toby Maguire skin for the entire game because the nostalgia was too real for me
They didn't release that one until after I had already platinumed the game. But you better believe I went back through for a second playthrough JUST to see the beautiful Raimi suit.
The PS4 version with mature Peter will always be better imo.
