Yes. Probert and Kocur where the best. Growing up in St. Louis and being season tix holders from '88-'99, I got to witness that old 'Chuck' Norris Division rivalry from '88-'93 when you were guaranteed a bench clearing brawl every game. That old St. Louis Arena would erupt for fight night more than a lazy Hull goal fest. Hell, the local news station would put up a potential fight card bout before the game started to pit enforcer vs. enforcer and 99% of the time the fight would happen. The violence is what got me into playing hockey and I still play it today in an elite league. The NHL died when they allowed the gayest team in all of sports to enter - the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. RIP WOKE NHL.

This may be the same Sutter who gave Sergei Federov a dirty, viscious cross check that dislocated his shoulder (when he wasn't looking) so if Sutter wanted to be an asshole, he should not do shit like that to none other than Bob Probert. The tip here is the fact Foley refers to the fight while looking at the replay. Blackhawk home games started being telecast in 1983.

WRONG! The old Sportsvision pay TV broadcast some home games when they started around 82/83 then went out of business a few years later. Then when cable came around they carried road games and a few home games but not many. Unless you went to a bar or had a dish no TV for the most part! This game was NOT televised that's why I listened on the radio and it's a Detroit broadcast team so get your facts straight! Wirtz even blocked them out in 91 when they went to the finals unless you paid through the ass for the "ROCK YOUR HOUSE" package.

Legend has it Bob Probert approached Tank Abbott in a bar and asked him to fight and Tank Abbott wanted absolutely no part of Probie. That was smart.

Bad fight for Glen and his worst loss - even worse than the uppercut he took from from Byers. Everyone picks on Dave Semenko, but Geez...Sammy did way better with prime Probert than the highly rated Glen Cochrane did here. That was complete and utter destruction, not some lucky punch type victory. Yeah, I know Gen was older but so was Semenko when Probert tko'd him in fight #2.
