Great set up, maximum comfort. Do you use the back seat in the cab to store other gear you need on a trip?
If I'm on a trip I store my fridge in the back seat as well as other camping gear. If I'm on a longer trip I can take the back seat out and have a flat floor which is much better. I also have a lockable roof top carrier box for things like chainsaws and fuel so it doesn't need to go in the canopy with me.
is carbon monoxide poisoning a concern when using a gas burner in such a confined space?
Yes it is. The burner was only used for short bursts with a fan bringing in fresh air. The rear doors were opened afterwards to ventilate. I will be investing in a carbon monoxide detector for future trips.
