from a personal angle I'm aware continuing to invest in periods of higher volatility is a Smart way to build wealth.

@@alih.3422 yep. Watched a few hours of it a few years back. His opinion DOES matter. He isn't just some random member of state that has done no research into bitcoin, he actually gets it. Why is he against it? His boss Elizabeth Warren or he understands it, but he is just not for it. Either way, we have to respect what he says because he has actually put the work in to understand it. Do I agree with him? Nope. I'm with Michael Saylor on this one.

Because everyone besides boomer democrats who still don’t understand fintech and crypto is fed up with this man. Look into his conflicts of interest with vanguard and how he handled FTX. Look at his close ties with carolines father and how many times he met with them to build relations while attacking their competitors like Binance.
Sorta like when SEC was making insider trades on crypto knowing what regulations were coming out?
So we shouldn't invest in bitcoin because some exchanges went bankrupt? Dozens of banks went bankrupt in the 2008 housing crash, does that mean we shouldn't have banks? Gensler never has any sound logic.
He never separates bitcoin network from crypto exchanges. If he’s trying to protect investors, he would clearly state the differences

I was hoping to listen to what Gary Gensler had to say on this interesting topic. Instead, all I could hear was Joe's frustration with SEC regulation of crypto. He literally did not allow Gary stick in a word. Why invite contributors to the show, Joe? Just have the three CNBC anchors tell the world how to run the markets and the economy in general. CNBC employees seem to think of themselves as the ultimate authority and judge of opinions. But that is not what I turn on the program for. Have the decency to at least listen to the guests you invite to the studio.

Good for Joe! I gained respect for him. He's right. The Chairman can't judge something's use-case without knowing the ratio of good vs bad activity is for the Chairman to say the USD should be outlawed bc of its prolific use in illegal activities.

*you have a central bank which prints the currency and gives it to the government. By the time this newly printed money is filtered down to the public it has devalued the entire currency supply, making the public poorer. This is one of bitcoin's main selling points, because no entity has the ability to increase the rate of newly created bitcoin. This is why the government and banks hate it, because they have no control over it.
Just look at the history of every single fiat currency ever created. They ALL trend towards zero, as their central bank constantly prints more currency.

If AMZPKK is everywhere you should probably ask yourself why that is the case? Obviously the move we have here is beyond what we had in the last 10 years or so. This comes with a plan, a plan which will make us survive when we can finally make own decisions and start to become independent. Just few days in AMZPKK is clearly setting up the new milestone! The only real way to counter the current recession is by acting on yourself, making own decisions and making sure that you got enough no matter what happens. If you trust conventional ways you might end up being homeless or worse at one day, seriously.. Why did it take the SEC seven years to approve a Bitcoin ETF?
I still do not understand how the hell i am going to use bitcoin and some say it is a store of value and i am never a believer in non cash producing assets such as gold and both bitcoin and gold move up and down everyday in fact as much 50% up and down in year in the case of bitcoin. So is it just a more volatile asset with high risk high reward ratio here risk means volatility to which we can allocate some percentage of portfolio?
Both Blackrock and Fidelity are advocating an allocation of 1-5% of your portfolio into Bitcoin. Even this small allocation can greatly increase returns due to the low correlation with other assets. The ETFs make this easy to do. Dollar cost averaging into it is the safest way to go.
