      Definitely most of us would like to check the status of "Baiyappanahalli to Whitefield stretch".... This route is notorious for traffic and it will be a game changer in minimizing Bangalore's infamous traffic problem.

      Not understanding y it's 3 lines because one line is Whitefield-Biapppanahalli and the other is Silkboard-Airport line no?

    Yes definitely now Bangalore metro is at 4th place in achieving phases of construction but it was delayed due to the future vision of the city as it is growing rapidly than any other metro cities of India. BMRCL is building the future metro connectivity but after completion of all projects definitely it will again reaches the top to be the model for upcoming metro projects.

      @@sakrokz Sorry Salman bhai, I beg to differ. Do you think population is the issue? I don't think so. It is our indiscipline which causes the traffic jam. 3 cars in a 2 car lane cause cause traffic jam in our cities. So, lets not blame population.

    I happen to pass this route twice a day. Work is going on without disturbance to public movement. Safety measures r in place. Their is always team to guide the traffic 24/7. Great/Good work by Team Metro

    Badly waiting for ORR metro(silkboard - kr puram) to start construction. As a daily commuter to-and-fro marathalli and bellandur, commuting is a pain in this strech.

    You can only imagine how many trees (probably not a great planning and execution at all) were cut down in due process of Bengaluru metro's construction and you can only see them now in photos or archives from old. Those humongous flyovers did little to reduce anything in the erstwhile beautiful city to control pollution or traffic and did make it chaotic.

    Just 350 mts away from upcoming ragigudda station at marenahalli, Jayadeva is just one stop ahead where the connectivity to MG Road, Nagwara and airport line or Electronic City connectivity is under progress. When the Silk Board to KR Puram connectivity is complete going towards Whitefield is too well at ease.

    Funfact: Jayadeva flyover had a 'Keep left' (1:04) sign installed on the left side of the flyover, implying to jump off. This was never removed for many years.

    The similar type of construction is going to be made in cmrl phase 2 line inbetween st. Thomas mount to adambakkam mrts station. Coz the gague used by these trains vary. Mrts uses broad gauge where as chennai metro uses standard gauge

    Cubbon Park be made the most comprehensive and all-encompasiing Interchange Station for commuters from all areas of Bengaluru by connecting it with the Kempegowda Airport Line (2B) at Hebbal via Sankey Road-Bellary Road as a surface line and Goreguntepalaya may also be connected with Hebbal on the Outer Ring Road. Plan the lines in such a way that with one Namma Metro ticket you are able to travel by Metro by changing lines at the Interchange which will help all the commuters.
