Michael Prophet - Sweet Loving - Remix

Another solid classic from the late, great Michael Prophet, taken from his debut LP 'Michael Prophet', released on Greensleeves in 1981.
The dub version "Ghost Of Frankenstein" is taken from the Scientist Dub LP "Scientist Rids the World of the Evil Curse of the Vampires", also released in 1981 on Greensleeves.
Produced by Henry 'Junjo' Lawes, backed by Roots Radics, and recorded at Channel One Studios and mixed at King Tubby's Studio by dub legend Scientist.
The vocal & dub have been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
This video gives some incite in to the amount of work that goes into remixing these reggae classics.

Yeah maaan - I grew up as a teenager on any singer @ channel 1, Roots Radics band led by Flabba, mix at King Tubbys by Scientist. Sounds better than 95% of reggae made nowadays and nuff respect for the upload.
