You know you're good when you have a 50 minute highlight video
I thought that soon as I saw the length…he’s not the goat but he was one of my all-time favorites!
Shooting jumpers and free throws are not highlights
Lol.. Rex a good player alright... But freethrows and mid court dribbling aren't really highlights for a mediocre player let alone a good one.
Use to watch him play in High School, then UK, Incredible! He could shoot, dunk, and block shots...everyone knew he would be a pro. His dad was an incredible coach.
I wish people appreciated this man when he was in his prime. Severely underrated. But still glad he's getting his props today. One of my all time favorite players
Been watching his miami days. Dude was a legit sharp shooter
@@nassiglutt6587 DEFINITELY. Even MJ wanted no smoke with him. Nothing but straight up respect for Chap.
Even tho it was toward the end of his career, i REALLY enjoyed him in Phoenix with Jason Kidd
Nobody is underrated..dumbest word ever invented
@@kenbard6371 that literally made no sense whatsoever. Of course there are underrated people in different aspects of life. Prime example: Rex Chapman in the NBA.
@@kenbard6371 and the dumbest word ever invented is "platypus". Stop lying to yourself.
It's 2020 and I'm re-discovering Rex chapman was a great player.
jimmy highroller brought me here
Fifty minutes of Rex Chapman highlights, wow! Would’ve never guessed
Who else is here because of jxmy highroller?
Here to see the "50 minute mixtape!!"
I became a Rex Chapman fan during his Phoenix Suns days. That '97-'98 team was fun to watch with their run and gun game. Unfortunately, like most Suns teams, they lacked a presence in the Center position which made Western-conference teams like the Lakers, Jazz and Spurs took full advantage of. If Antonio McDyess had stayed after that season, that Suns squad could've gone deeper in the playoffs in the coming years.
Totally missed his playing years with the Hornets and Bullets but seeing these clips, he was more of a slashing, high-flyer then. It was good that he became a shooter later on after his injury. It certainly extended his career.
P65
Rex had bounce and swag to his game
Jimmy was here
Rex attempted three 3-pointers per game in his career. In today's game, Rex would average about ten 3-point shots. So he would easily average 20-plus in today's game.
I remember his killer shots when he played for PHX. He got the lowest salary in the NBA (around 250k a year!) for about two years in a row. When you think about how much money they make today in the NBA and some players can't even shoot the ball or dunk or pass or dribble...
Shut up grandpa
Jxmy's new video brought me here
By the time he got to Phoenix, you can tell by the look on his face that he's not feeling as well as previous years.
My favorite player of all time. He's one of those you say "what if" with the injury bug he had (2 torn ACLs if I recall) hence why he's so much different in Miami and later than he was in Charlotte and Washington, much less explosive. But wow, what a great shooter and player. Beat the best team in NBA history (10 loss Bulls team) with the greatest player in NBA history guarding him. Not enough you can say about the guy, truly one of the most underrated players ever.
gotcha, ya I mean you really took away everything he could do on both ends of the court with all of those surgeries.
Rex was unstoppable by only the Bulls in '97. His talent was incredible and when he was in a zone.. look out crazy stuff is going down.
You here after jimmy's video?
Thanks for all the effort to make this video! Vintage Rex!
Thanks! It was a lot of work but I really enjoyed putting it together.
@@stevencannon9592 you should go check out the jodi video on Rex that he just dropped. It’s gonna bring a lot of traffic here with his mention of this video
His shooting form is fun to watch
Who came here after the jxmy video?
My dad said the best 2 players he ever played against was Rex Chapman and redbone
I dunno how I stumbled upon this video but wow ....totally forgot about this dude
Great athlete

Great video and his "Presser" with the FREE KRISPIE KREME donuts...hilarious.
Yup, came here from Jxmy
I remember Rex during the dunk contest and loved him in Phoenix, but for some reason didn't remember him on the Heat or Bullets. I skipped around, on this video, but it was a fun watch.
I like how it went from mike and rex jawing at each other,to the next highlight with pippen on rex lol
Cold ass white boy, wish he would've came to UofL
chapman kidd nash kj on same team woooweee
Rex Chapman was always on the DL so he missed a lot of games each season. Too bad.....
His career night - against the Jordan-led 72-10 Bulls drained 39 for one of those 10 losses.
Nice timing.
Happy Birthday to Rex.10-5-67.KY
I wonder why he never did 3 point contest?
Ha ha! Thanks man!
