However , would it be possible to show us a whole day flight operation, from morning star t to end of day, naturally heavily edit ted due toi length. An example would have been when you flew to Cairns Australia and then a second part showing your flight back.

I think the most intriguing thing about your vlogs - I subscribe to other, similar ones - is that you're the interface between ancient indigenous cultures and the 21st Century. You are what you are, they are what they are, and you've agreed to interact for mutual benefit and despite the jarring interaction y'all have both remained essentially who you were before. Speaks well of us as a species. We learn to live together, and benefit from each other without losing who we are.

Ryan Hi! Crap weather indeed. A little like UK this last month! You may have been asked this before so sorry. The Take Off and Approach Checklist Box you have on the cockpit coaming. Is that Company standard equipment. Seems perfect for single crew ops. Regards from UK. p.s. We saw the Sun today!

Yeah, all of our planes have it and have been using them since the 90's. They are a great tool for single pilot ops for sure

how does the scheduling work? Once I took a roundtrip with Pacific Missionary Aviation from Yap to Ulithi, and their scheduling was along the lines "maybe on Friday, if there is enough pax" :)
the equipment was a queen air, they probably prefer multiple engines due to flying mostly over open water.

We have minimum loading fees. So if the missionarys that booked the flight are the only ones on the flight, they have to pay a min of 530kg regardless of how much weight they have.

Hey man some awesome mountain flying skills you have. I hear you discussing the weather a lot, cloud cover specifically but what about wind? I would guess that anything above 15kts in one of those tight mountain strip would make for some insane approaches.

Because we are close to the equator, we don't experience high winds very often here.

Curious on currency if flying the full approach would've been a better choice or no issues with maintaining currency.

I've come to love your channel. I've done mission work in Kosovo. I've always dreamt of flying. Does RPM automatically change with prop angle? Is the prop angle control feather or just forward/back? Everyone can make fun of my dumb questions

Freight Dog! Right on! There's 3 types of flying that always appealed to me, and freight is one of em. the other two are ferry pilot and bush flying. Hope you enjoy your gig!

Ha! That was a lonnng time ago! One of the fellow pilots lived through the war in Serbia and he said it was safer there! Winter, ifr, DUAL suction pump failure! Sliding down an icy runway---sideways. All for 19K/ year and the previous twin-time.

@@fazole I read something that said, "you know you're a freight dog if the most reliable and expensive piece of equipment in your cockpit is your ipod!"
I do believe it would be pretty terrifying flying......ferry pilot sounds good to me instead, cheers!

Ryan! Thanks for another great video. Question: Why didn't you stay on oxygen all the way to the end?
