A lot of people think Sakurai will no longer be involved in the series, but there definitely will be another Smash on the next Nintendo system since it sells so well.
OK so what’s going on with the dying and then flying back up is because of the special move canceling, basically the way it’s programmed is that you can cancel anything into a special move, which includes dying, that’s also why sometimes you lose multiple stocks at once

Turbo mode really makes you wonder how annoying Meta Knight would be if his specials didn’t put him in special fall.
Ok that's a bit silly. What if his up B just let you glide around at the end? I suppose you could also have a sword attack that you could cancel the glide with that would THEN put you in special fall (but auto cancels and is safe on shield close to the ground). That sounds like a fine move.
And if his moves were way faster, like some stupid 2-frame up-air, but that would obviously never happen haha
There's a Brawl mod called Brawl Minus that aims to buff everyone up to the level of Street Fighter II Akuma, and that was basically the only change they made to Meta Knight. (I'm pretty sure he could only use a given special move once before needing to land, though)
I’ve always thought even in Ultimate, what would Meta Knight be like if he was allowed to do, say, two special moves in the air before going into free fall? I think the most polarizing thing it would change is that Meta Knight would be impossible to edge guard and would recover from literally anywhere

I’ve seen a mod like this for byleth, but that mod had no start up for moves either so you could mash byleth neutral b and fly while shooting a steady beam of full charged byleth arrows across the full screen

On top of not being punished for doing the stupidest moves ever, you also can never SD.
Note to Underdogs playing turbo mode: Do NOT mash the B button while in the blastzone you will lose stocks SMH.

if u are playing turbo mode for too long u can never return to normal smash... (cause it feels soooo slow, kinda worse than online even if its offline)

If you guys do another one of these videos, do it with Stamina mode active! I promise it's much more fun when you have 3 stock 500 stamina games because it's all about who deals damage and not about using bullshit ledge camping spam. My friends and I always used to play that ruleset in Project M.

You know. I own a game called TMNT Smash Up on PS2. It is a Smash clone with traditional fighting elements. There aren't any specials but you have light and heavy attacks that you can tilt and smash. This means that Casey Jones is Ike and Shredder has Doriyah and a sword version of Falcon Punch. Maybe check it out.

I have a great idea for a video so maybe u and hopcat can do it but pretty much u and someone else have to start on Mario and then roll a 6 sided dice and u will move how many spaces the dice says and whatever u land on is the character u are, if u win the match then next round when u pick ur character and let’s say u get a 5 and land on like peach and u don’t like it u can roll again and maybe get bowser or something but u can only do that in ur round, this keeps going until mii gunner and whoever has the most trophies(kills) wins
