New spec D tuning catback exhaust for 2001 civic LX

I finally installed my exhaust this morning on my 2001 civix LX. I went to CarId.com and bought a tanabe extension pipe that actually fit my exhaust and found perfectly!!!!!!!!!! I paid $188 for the dang pipe, yes i was ripped off a bit, but i finally got rid of my shitty stock exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The car is stock, only upgrade is an AEM cold air intake and i also put in new ngk spark plugs... Im going to be upgrading slowly.... thanks for watching guys!

Sounds good, my dude. Civics are literally the best car to modify. They're cheap, have tons of aftermarket parts available and with a little bit of money and imagination, can be decently fast.

@@DebtOfLife I unfortunately had to sell my Honda as well. Had a 97 del Sol with the D16Y7 motor. It had a custom catback system and cold air intake plus weight reduction. It definitely was a fun car.

@Jay Gurrola do you remember the specs of the extension pipe? The cars sounds very aggressive and i think javing this as part of the exhaust will be necessary for replicating this sound. Amazing video!

Hey dude about to order one for my es1 the 2 door version of yours…. Do you need the extension? Or can you just bolt it to the stock downpipe? I wasn’t sure if you just didnt want to run the stock downpipe or it wouldnt fit without it thanks

Freshly Boosted there is a silencer if you want it muffled, i took mine off so when I get on the highway it growls nice

Jose Garcia none, just make sure you have the tanabe extension pipe and you will be smooth sailing!!!!!!! Also replace old hanging bushings, and use white lithium grease makes it soo much easier to slide on.
