So thinking about it I was not surprised by the horses where restless.
I haven't heard any further news on the trooper or his horse, hope they get better soon.

Let's not forget the horses are the greatest victims in all this. They never asked to be put in this situation and thy will no doubt suffer the most. I've noticed that the headlines paint them as the problem, putting them in the wrong... That is not the case they are the wronged party here. I hope the horses all fully recover both mentally and physically from this torment and torturous moment they went through. Wishing them a full and speedy recovery. I totally agree with you. This is the time of year when horses get frisky because they can smell the green grass and after a long winter all they want to do is get out and gallop over a green medow when they also get to eat fresh grass. Even my two 28 year old horses are spooky and want to run 😂 the care these horses recieve is certainly first class but they are still animals and London is not a good and natural enviroment for these magnificent horses 😢

What the hell is going on? Every time I turn on this channel, a horse is incessantly worrying the bit, repeatedly tossing his head, acting out, seemingly disobeying aids. Then, SEVEN of them break free and run out into London traffic. Today, one rears and throws his rider. Tourists were not to blame for this last debacle. The horses aren’t happy. Anyone can see that, and I’ve had enough experience to know that to be true. It might be that modern London is no place for them. I adore these - all - horses, and always stop to admire them, but it is not fair to the riders, and certainly not the horses, to expose them to the assaults of sound, sights and smells of the city. The guards, themselves, are enough of a tourist attraction.

      The horses and guards

them ....🙂... I know they do
      get taken to meadows for
      breaks in routine, but how
long are they kept in their
      stalls, inside, and have to
      stand still for lengths of
time, and / or perform the
rituals of the guard duty ?
      I know they are precious
      creatures, but it must get

@@RagingCanuckagreed! A major city is NO place to keep horses. I’ve owned my own boarding/training farm for 20 years, and I bought my farm bc it has 85 acres. I strongly believe that horses should be allowed to be horses, and having lots of grassy fields for all of the horses to spend their time grazing and being able to run and play was one of my TOP priorities. I can’t imagine where in London there would be anywhere for these poor horses to be turned out on. I feel so sorry for these poor horses😢

Year on year the tourist traffic has trebled over the last decade in and about horse guards, it is of no surprise that even with all the noise and crowd training the horses go through, that this increased volume of people and noise has taken a toll on these poor creatures, animals have limitation as do humans, they are intelligent and highly sensitive, knowing each day were they are going and what to expect, it is no wonder some will go ready wound up like a spring eventually to be set off by any sudden activity, pushed over their limits of trained endurance, the city is no place for these beautiful animals! things can only get worse without sensible change.

This is a sad situation. Hopefully everyone will recover from their injuries. I'm wondering if the leaders at the headquarters are thinking of ways to better prepare the horses for strange loud noises. When a horse goes into panic mode, there is really nothing the rider can do. The brain shuts off except for the flight mode. If there is anything "good" to come out of this event is that more noise training will be implemented, and that the horses that can't handle it are taken out of the program. But again, all best thoughts to those injured for a full and speedy recovery.

    Information:
During a recent cavalry exercise, three military personnel and at least one horse sustained injuries as a result of the animals escaping. The horses were reportedly startled by the noise generated by construction workers disposing of debris through a waste chute.
Subsequently, they embarked on a six-mile journey across the city, compelling the army, fire brigade, and police to engage in a concerted effort to locate them. Footage disseminated online depicted two of the horses swiftly traversing Aldwych, with one of the animals exhibiting visible signs of injury during the six-mile incident, resulting in the hospitalization of four individuals.
One horse shattered a bus windscreen after colliding with it, and another collided with a taxi as it fled through busy streets. All horses have now been found and taken back to camp.
Four soldiers were thrown off after being spooked during an extended exercise in Belgravia on Wednesday. It is understood that three Household Cavalry personnel have been assessed at hospital for their injuries, but they were not seriously hurt.
An eyewitness described seeing the man lying in the street "screaming in pain" outside the Clermont Hotel on Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria. He told The Telegraph: "One of my colleagues called the police. The man hit the floor hard, he was screaming in pain. You could see blood all over the parked car."
A bus station employee near Victoria described a chaotic situation where people were running for safety. The employee stated that horses from the bus station in front of Victoria were running around in a frenzy, causing people to scatter to avoid them. The scene was described as total mayhem.
Another employee provided a statement.: "One of the horses bumped into a bus, then everything got out of control. I saw two horses without riders gallop away. One rider managed to calm his horse down.
A blue tarpaulin tent was set up in the area while paramedics provided medical assistance to the injured serviceman. The Ministry of Defence has subsequently verified that seven Household Cavalry horses were temporarily at large in central London and have since been safely recovered. The horses are currently undergoing veterinary care. A spokesperson stated: “A number of military working horses become loose during routine exercise this morning. All of the horses have now been recovered and returned to camp. A number of personnel and horses have been injured and are receiving the appropriate medical attention.”
An equine transportation vehicle used by the military was observed parked in the vicinity of Buckingham Palace. In a separate incident, a taxi driver stationed outside the Clermont Hotel had the windows of his automobile shattered due to a collision with a startled horse that collided with the Mercedes people carrier.
The retrieval of the horses commenced with the discovery of two near the Limehouse road tunnel at approximately 8:40 AM. However, five horses remain unaccounted for. The London Ambulance Service characterized the situation as "unfolding and intricate." Paramedics responded to three separate incidents involving the horses.
An additional eyewitness, a 20-year-old individual named Tracy, observed several horses further along toward Limehouse near Tower Bridge. She provided the following account: "The horses were running past cars and an unmarked Range Rover was following them on the street from Tower Bridge toward Limehouse Tunnel." Later in the day, workers from Transport for London (TfL) arrived at the scene in Limehouse to commence a cleanup operation.
A representative from the London Ambulance Service stated: “We were called at 8:25am today (April 24) to reports of a person being thrown from a horse on Buckingham Palace Road, SW1W. We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, and an incident response officer. Our first paramedic arrived on scene in five minutes.”
A spokesperson for the City of London Police said: "At around 8.40am, we were called about horses that had became loose and were travelling through the City. Our officers have contained two horses on the Highway near Limehouse. We're waiting for an Army horse box to collect the horses and transport them to veterinary care."
As reported by The Sun and The Telegram.

The horses that bolted across London must have been terrified. Poor things. Normally if anywhere when driving you see a horse and rider in front, it’s common curtesy and common sense to slow right down to a crawl, then pass really slowly giving a wide berth…. How on earth did the worker that tipped all that concrete down a chute (obviously not the first time in his life) do that right when horses were passing, one just wonders where his brain was….. When there is parades etc, it should be made common knowledge and a rule that all building work like that ceases…. Does the person that did it, even aware of what he caused.

Years ago, in Theobalds Rd, Holborn, looking out of my office window, I witnessed a road repair team deliberately trying to spook two Police horses. I saw a bloke clocking them on the approach and then, as they passed, he let go of the hugest piece of equipment available on the pulley. It was one hell of a clang. It resonated. Only the inside horse reacted. It was upset. However, due to the rider's control, there was no unseating. It was the most splendid piece of riding I've ever seen. Bucks and rears were minimal. She was talking the whole time, as they went sidewides for about thirty feet until normal service was resumed. The outside horse carried on as if nothing at all had happened.

The horses can sense the turmoil that happened at Hyde Park Barracks as they dealt with the situation. Waiting for news on injured Troopers that's horses and riders. Tensions bound to have run high.
At least rider and horse are ok.

I also wondered the same thing? I didn't think of a dog whistle, but there are special interests developing lots of unknown things and bad actors can sometimes get their hands on them too. I thought about something like a powerful Lazer pen, which is a very powerful light. A hand held devise. As the sun is out, crowds all around, if it was used on a small tight group of horses tightly packed together, the sunlight would block the user from being observed!
Years ago after driving back up a steep little hill which was on an A road, shrouded with tall dense trees, just as I got up to the top of the hill, a car approaching blinded me so badly, that I couldn't see. I was convinced I was deliberately targeted! Scary and I was just nearing the top of the hill, so I needed enough horse 🐎 power (excuse the pun) to get up and over. Whereby, slowing too much could have also caused the car to stall or roll backwards. I just had to rev up and veer away from the other car, towards my inside. When you don't expect that to happen, it takes you by surprise.
My guesses is either some horses who can kick out if feeling hemmed in by the others because too tight together or a bright blinding Lazer Pen⁉️

I noticed a kick or two from a horse when a group was bundled in very tight together. With little space between them, this caused others to respond and a ricochet chain reaction occured from the horses. I've been to horse shows and a red warning bow would be attached high up on the horses tail, to let others riders who may pass them, give a wide birth. Perhaps that's what caused so many horses to react? Far too close together⁉️ Wouldn't it be more sensible to do the same as gymkhanas do and tie a little red bow on the horses tail⁉️ Considering how many horses there are and I doubt every soldier knows which horses will react badly if too tight together!

I'm more worried about the other horse who has had to have surgery at the veterinary hospital, can't remember his name. My comment really relates to why it happened, firstly NO horse can be prepared for what happened, they are "FLIGHT" animals with their own minds! Secondly I think the construction workers need to be investigated, what idiots would think dropping stuff from a height was a good idea!?!! How do we know it wasn't done on purpose? And why are these people not trained in health and safety?? What if a tourist had been killed! There are some big issues that need addressing here, we expect too much from the military and horses to cope with these days, way too many tourists etc.

I responded to another comment with my opinion that a very intense bright white Lazer Pen, or similar and even a possible satellite briefly doing this from high up above in an aircraft, even from a Space Station, Satellite from a vessel⁉️) but the Comment written, mentioned the possibility of something like a Dog Whistle⁉️It is certainly another plausible explanation⁉️. If you consider that the smallest bones in the human body (I have known knowledge of a horse's anatomy⁉️) is called The Stirrup Bone and is located inside the inner ear 👂🏻, this could also be a very likely cause⁉️. Especially, when you consider that only certain people who have the very highest hearing possible and are able to hear certain White Noises which others cannot⁉️. Yet again, I do not know if this exceptional rare ability could also be possible with horses who also have a higher ability to detect these frequencies which other horses also may not be able to⁉️. Whereby, a special white noise high radio frequency would only affect a very small majority of people and possibly even horses too⁉️. I'll further add my own knowledge in this area as follows:- I grew up with a Norwegian Papa and an English Mother in the UK. My mother had learnt to speak fluent Norwegian after visiting and working in Norway and then meeting my Pap and then returning back to the UK.
My mother was impatient, highly strung and spike rapidly in English and Norwegian too. It was normal for me to hear both languages simultaneously when an English visitor arrived to greet our guest from Norway who didn'
t speak English. Whereby, the language was rapidly bounced back and forth, even in mid sentence to translate to both guests who only spoke one language. Microwaves didn't exist then, but had they done, my mother would still have completed and been faster⁉️😂.
I've mentioned this for a reason. When my older sister started school, i think my mother wanted some free time during the day and it wasn't long before the school agreed to accept me as well, although I was technically far too young to start.
I had a beautiful young French teacher and I was captivated by her facial expressions l, large full pouty lips, when she spoke to the class, me personally or read us a story, but I didn't listen to a ward sge said, because I was spell bound by her highly expressive face and soft French accent.
I had been brought up with foreigners with accents, Germans and visiting Scandinavia yearly for holidays, including Danish and Swedish and in the rarest occasions hearing an odd Icelandic, but although I wasn't used to hearing French, I could certainly understand my teacher. I just found her captivating and I was fascinated because her pace was much slower when speaking to me or the class and this was completely opposite to my home environment, especially with my rapid speaking mother. I wasn't used to hearing slow speaking, so I just switched off! My young teachers facial features and expressions was far more interesting than the story being read or her teaching which I had switched off from and probably gone into Pen Marling⁉️.
My parents received feedback that I wasn't responding well and the school suggested that they should ask my doctor to refer me to a specialist for a hearing test.
To cut a long story out, after taking the first test and bear in mind they assumed I might be partially deaf, so after the electronic White Noise Test I was asked to respond and press a Buzzer with every white noise I heard. It was assumed that I had just played with the Buzzer and treated the test as a game. Therefore, it was already assumed I had hearing problems⁉️. My parents were cross with me for doing this and another appointment was made. After the second test, I waited to get told off again about wasting everyone's time , but instead everyone looked happy and pleased⁉️. I had done exactly as before, so why a different reaction from the experts and my parents, I wondered⁉️. In the car driving home, I was very surprised when my mother turned around and told me that there was nothing wrong with my hearing⁉️. I already knew that, but if only I had been taken seriously and asked, it would have saved everyone a lot of time and my appointments wouldn't have prevented another child from waiting for a booking⁉️
Just one more thing... My mother further added, that she was told that I had exceptional hearing and was at the very highest level on the Hearing Test. The experts even labelled it as "Flyers Hearing" (pilots).
Considering my own possible relevant information, it may give a clue, how a specialist White Noise Radio Frequency, which targets 🎯 human and/or animal, to be used on only those with exceptionally high hearing⁉️
A device I've mentioned, would only affect certain riders and/or horses, whereby pointing it to target a small group, especially when they are all in close proximity in a parade line up, could have caused the Stirrup Bone in those affected, to feel dizzy and wobbly and this could result in a horse kicking out, due to the sensation and feeling panicky in tight proximity to other horses. It could also have completely disoriented the those guards affected too. If it upset their balance and then they may not be able to control the situation!
Just one more thing... My father grew up in Norway with an Elk Hound and this dog had exceptional hearing. When my father walked home from school the dog would come out to greet him and this was a very long way away from the garden where the dog was.
      It's just a thought worth considering... 🤔
P.S. Also consider the possibility of a bad state actor from The Arab Alternative NATO using a target device 🎯👂🏻⁉️
The Norwegian Elk Hound would run along a country road my Papa took when walking mikes home from his senior school. He mentioned this dogs exceptional hearing ability. So this is worth considering the possibility of only a tiny minority of animals or humans who possess this ability and exceptional ability could also have been used against them if a special high frequency electronic radio waive technology had been used against them⁉️. Other guards and horses, may not have been as badly affected⁉️

I've just replied in length to you, so pleased tahe a look. However, in reply to your suggestion about erecting barriers, it could be a possibility ⁉️. Please read my reply about high frequency electronic radio waives white noises being used to target horse and/or guard. Therefore, a barrier wouldn't prevent this from occurring again⁉️🤔🎯👂🏻

When I was once walking past the palace, I asked the guard if I had permission to touch his horse⁉️ I know they are on duty and aren't allowed to speak, but the guard did give me permission. He nodded his head, whilst simultaneously bringing in the reins and the horse did too!
He had already sussed me out and knew I would be safe and also knew his horse would be ok only if he was calm and ok about it!
After leaving to catch up my partner, I had to walk in the direction of the horse furthest away from the little crowd behind me and set back further from the road and completely isolated. When I was approximately 12' or so away from the horse, this horse was horrified I was approaching and raised his head up high and the guard brought the reins in tight! Needless to say, I stopped instantly as I'd read the message loud and clear "Keep Back or I'll Charge At You"! So I saw up close a complete contrast in their characters!
I thought this horse looked younger and his behaviour mirrored a highly strung thoroughbred, but I'm only surmising.
After the recent very dramatic scene, I've been recollecting about my own very limited interactions with the palace horses. I even surmised about the possibility that the second horse may have been first given to the police to be used in riots because he looked ready to charge me if if taken another step closer. If you consider the distance between us, which I thought was a respectable distance, the horse clearly acted very bothered by my presence and it was far too close for his comfort. When you also consider how close very large noisy and/or circular crowds can be a lot closer. Especially when access is permitted to be very close inside the courtyard very close to these horses. I once witnessed someone walk through the horse sentry point at the front of the palace and carry on walking past the horse and out the other end; 😱 I wondered where they had left their brain because one swift kick and "it's a knock out!"

I'm surprised there has not been any further updates on progress being made by horses and guard⁉️ I suspect the guard is very badly bruised.
I knew someone who had won the tough gruelling 3 Day Events twice and Princess Ann came second.
He later had a very bad riding accident and was at the time had been head hunted by Mr. Murdock to be his Assassin (one who fires others) in London. He was bedridden and spinal injury was the verdict and "Never walk again"! However, this man was a charmer and had a very strong competitive streak and was able to charm his female doctor while he was labelled as "paralysed"! One day, she was there while he was receing treatment and was turned over to change his position to prevent bed soars. He cried out in pain, but the doctor knew this was a good sign because it alerted her to the possibility that his nerves were still collecting signals, so technically with a lot of hard work he could walk again. She was young and only because they were a serious item. She covered up his face and then stuck a pin into his foot! She pushed it in slowly until he cried out again! Then told him the excellent news, that his spine was badly bruised and compressed, but with a lot of will power and determination he could learn to sit up, and eventually learn to walk again!
She took a huge risk in doing what she did, buth physically and mentally, by giving him her beliefs that he can do it! She was only a young doctor and all the hospital specialists had already written him off as permanently bedridden paralysed!

He made an excellent recovery and I only noticed a mere subtle limp! He went on to be a highly priced photographer. He was asked to do a photoshoot for the Poster Shop Group called Afena which was throughout London and the country and numerous in Carnaby Street, Oxford St, and all tourist hot spots. In fact, he photographed a poster which became a best seller Icon. The poster was the iconic massively built male body builder cradling a naked chubby baby. As soon as it was released, it broke all records. Then he got ripped off! Afena called him up and said they wanted him to redo the exact identical poster again. Same body builder and baby model. He was paid off to do this and couldn't fathom why repeat a best seller⁉️ Then he found out! Afena now was the legal copyright owner, which completely cut him out from receiving any more royalties! He had learnt an important lesson, a little too late!
There was anything very famous Poster I also remember. A model dressed in a short tennis dress on a court and just about to wilpe sweat off the tennis ball before serving. Her hand ✋🏻 it s behind on her buttock, when a naughty little Jack Russel dog jumps up and bites her knickers and pulls down one side lower enough to see her naked buttock!
You may be serious a demand is mentioning this but for all those who have seen it hung up in Afena and graced a lot of newspapers, magazines and advertising, you'll all know how eye catching and a very believable, but natural concept. The photographer told me that he personally knew the photographer who photographed the tennis model and he had only paid her £50 or something as paultry as that! The photographer made .millions of pounds from that one poster. My friend said if that had been him, he would have tracked her down and given her a few thousand pounds as a bonus!
But I believe in Kharma ....

Looks like the horse may have fell on top of the trooper. That's why it took him so long to get up.
I believe the trooper's proud parents watch these videos. He was involved in the Elizabeth Cup.

This was the worst thing i have ever seen on CZcams. When the black and whIte hirses ran for their life so petrified. And bleeding. Is it true that they did not survive ? Yes horses got the worst, all animals are at the mercy of humans regarding how their life is. Humans can choose their jobs.

There is something very wrong with these horses. For months now there have been incidents. At horseguards or on parades. Horses/ riders. Or change of routine, training. It needs to be sorted.

I have huge respect and give thanks for all of our service personnel and especially the mounted divisions.
My recent observations are that the police horses who escort them do seem far less highly strung and more patient than the military horses.
Given that the horses don’t serve in combat anymore maybe a change of breed maybe in order.

Why do they slap the horses? Just get off and lead them away.
Weird, cruel custom if ya ask me.

    • @joyceroberts3886
      @joyceroberts3886 Před 10 dny +2

It's not being cruel, it's a signal to the horse of a weight change, meaning the rider is getting off.
