the problem is is only uses 5gb speed, so if you have 2x7ports hub that both using 5gb, you can use 10gb in total, when you uses simultaneously multiple devices. here, with 16 devices all sharing 5gb, whitch is the value of 1xusb3 port, mean that your devices won't even perform at usb1 rate being all used at same time.

Good video, I have a question about this hub, if you disconnect from electricity and connect again, the individual switches remember its status (on/0ff)?

I got something similar with 7 USB 3 ports a few years ago. I've got plenty of USB-C - USB-C cables and would really like hub for them, It's be smaller too moving from those big USB A ports. Is it simply a technical issue that's keeping firms from making a hub with several USB-C ports? I've got a Cal Digit TS3, what I want is a simple hub like this with many USB-C ports.

It would only handle 4 things plugged into it. When I plugged in the 5th item it wouldn't connect.

Can you do a review of the Dell Inspiron 14 (7000) AMD version. It's similar to the XPS 2 in 1 but way cheaper

Just bought this it arrives tomorrow, but to use it for pc does the power function have to be on for it to show up, like if I connect a blue yeti to it.

i should purchase this years ago cause all my devices keeps being their LED on even when pc is turned off. WORSE, i have those 2 usb monitors that don't have any power button or sleep mode. only way to turn it off is to unplug it or turn off the pc. this is lifesaving for your super expensive componments, that you only want turn one when it's necessary. also for electricity bills, psu ressources, etc etc.

My HDTV can recognize 4 usb sticks plugged into a 4 port usb hub, but I don't know if a 16 port hub such as the Sabrent would be recognized. Can someone verify for me?

We still need safe remove from the computer first , before push the power off button , or just push the switch off button without removing safe from the computer , to be able to corrupt all my data 😂😂😂 ?

So... this device is NOT something you would connect to your computer?
You can't use this for data transfer to and from your CPU.
I've watched a couple videos so far, and no one is plugging into their desktops.

@@TheDigitalDigest how does it work exactly? 90W/16≈5W for each and for data transfer is a single 3.0 usb data transfer speed / 16? Or does it dynamically manage it, so let's say you only have 1 device plugged in it will transfer and charge at full USB 3.0 speed?

What? That’s just under 6 watts per port for all 16. 8 ports means 11 watts so 5V 2.1A. 4 ports is 5V 4.2’ish Amps so pretty much max unless each port has a limit.
