Thank GOODNESS WITH ALL the fake endorsements from all the influencers out there I love the fact you compared brands true reviews ,,, for that reason alone you just received another subscriber! I hope you get the credit from the brands that you deserve!

I like more full coverage makeup so the camouflage HD concealer is my ultimate favorite concealer ever! I use up so many tubes a year I'm always joking I'm single-handedly keeping that concealer in production 🙈 if they ever get rid of it I swear I'm buying 10 backups and then crying 😅 great video! ❤️

Thanks! I used to love the liquid camouflage when I was in my 20s. But it's just not great with more mature skin.

My fav product from Catrice is their nail polish. Nudie Beautie or Get lost in the red you love (which is a pretty close dupe of the Chanel Rouge Noir) are what's on my nails 90% of the time. Super easy to apply (1 coat) and it stays all week for me. Still can't believe I used to pay 10x the price for designer nail polish 😩 I've recently bought their matte top coat too, super fun! I got that same "eyeshadow brush color switch" as you have from them too. And now I saw they have a new eyelash curler, which looks a bit scary (has like a comb on one side) - but I am intrigued! That's what I appreciate about Catrice - they offer some products you can't find in any other brand (at least in my country). The bad thing is that they just discontinue stuff so fast! Thank you for sharing your faves!

Oh yes, back when I bought and tried lots of nail polish I used to love buying Catrice ones too. But then I discovered OPI and now when I paint my nails I tend to reach for my OPI or Essie polishes more quickly than I do Catrice.

I just found your channel through this video! I was enjoying and when you mentioned that you have a makeup memories box, I had to subscribe. I have a makeup memory box, too 😍 Love this video and can’t wait to watch more! 💕

Hi Maaike I indeed find this brand a bit hit and miss tbh. Being an affordable brand I know it's normal for some things to be better than others, however it's like a fast fashion makeup brand in some ways - new new new all the time. I'm also unsure why the variation in where we live, means a massive variation in the products available to us. Some of the products you held up in the best and worst have never been available in the UK and yet others I see online in perhaps the US are also completely different. I find that quite frustrating tbh. I have had some items I have enjoyed though and they were well priced. Catrice is only available online in the UK, whereas Essence is in my local Wilco store. I mostly buy Catrice from Just my look website as they do free shipping on any order - this prevents the shipping costing more than the item lol.
A word of caution re the vegan collagen lipsticks - they're on outlet here so may be replaced soon in the line. The complexion products are never for me (I'm too pale), so those are never on my radar for myself and I agree about the limited shades. Overall as with any affordable brand I love an affordable hidden gem, but they're not a brand I'm overly excited about. Best wishes.

Yeah they tend to not be the most transparent about the availability of their products. That is something they can definitely work on.

That would be a great idea! The next brand I want to feature in this series is Charlotte Tilbury so that may be up your street too.

Thank you for this video. Its a shame that you declutter the multicolor blush box 030 warm soul. Because i just bought it (thanks to your recomendations for the formula) and it is total dupe for Blonzer kiss of pink.. maybe you can try it also, if its really a dupe..
Keep on with your chanel and blog, you are doing great job

Thank you! I own the Blonzer in Kiss of Pink. That's why I decluttered the Catrice one as it's too similar.

@@FloatinginDreams i just got the catrice yesterday (yes, i see your video and I run get stuff 😀) and i was so surprised to see it side by side with the blonzer..
Do you have a recomendation for a brush that works good with the multicolor blush? I guess more fluffy is better to pick up evenly all the colors..
Btw, i really listen to you, so i am a proud owner of catrice holiday skin bronzer lighter shade.. its PERFECT.. thank you so much..

Thanks for trusting my recommendations. I use the Real Techniques blush brush to apply it. It's indeed big, round and fluffy.

It’s hard to find lots of products from Catrice in the US, which kinda stinks Bc they do make so many great affordable products. I kept a fresh n up primer sealed too!! Lol! It really is a great primer. I think I may have to open mine real soon!

    • @FloatinginDreams
      @FloatinginDreams  Před 2 lety

Yup but remember, the same goes for us Europeans and many US drugstore brands. There is a reason why I don't recommend brands like Milani, ELF or Wet N Wild very often. They are difficult to get a hold of, only available online and always sold at an amazing markup. I pay nearly double the price for a Milani eyeshadow primer than you do if you buy one from CVS in the US.

@@FloatinginDreams yes!, I know it now. I hadn’t realized just how much more it cost those of you in Europe until I’d seen one of your recent videos.

Simply nauseating smell Air Brush. I will not purchase it ever again.
