Dear God... Freelance 3D CGI artist here. I lost my shit when he said "virtual tours". Please do not take advice from this dude. Zbrush is primarely used for sculptors and in 3d printing for action figures or particularly organic surfaces, hence the high geometry count. For specific models that are generally hard surface, used in the website, or that has particular mechanism, there are hundreds of different softwares that are better aimed at such productions. Virtual tours as an example, are EXTREMELY demanding for computers and mobile devices, hence they are often created as low poly versions in traditional modeling softwares or using Unreal Engine or any real time game engine that focuses on optimization, Zbrush IS NOT made for optimization purposes, although it has features such as zremesher that allows to minimize the polycount, that workflow is generally not the standard in the professional field. Also, NFT?? That stuff requires a game development workflow, Zbrush is just one of the tens of softwares required to produce such assets.... Research more before misleading people.
3:36 shitty info. 1-the products sold are from ALL items from that sellers in all his life; 2-you did math wrong: esty take its % (sometime up to 20%) + fix costs + paypal % and paypal fix costs. 3-sometimes (the most of) shipping costs are included in that price. 4-material costs. Material it's about half of the price. Once you sell for 20, in your pocket you will have nearly 12. So, that "half million" will be "at maximum" 150-200.000. In how many years?!? And are you sure that seller has only that 28$ model and not other 2-3$, lowering the incoming A LOT??? And if you think about shipping costs (7-9) each.... Are you still sure about "half million" in his pocket???
Zbrush is not like blender lol, only then it is in a 3D space. I beehive blender now has digital sculpting tools, but nothing comes close to Zbrush. whatever happened to Mudbox?
I always save individual assets for reselling. A ribbon can get you 100 a month. A basemesh, 500. You just need to be smart and grind like a Jet Set Radio protag.
