I went the last half of September. The weather was cool and rainy for the most part. It was raining at all the Alaska ports but that can be true any time of the year especially in Ketchikan. I still loved the cruise. Thank you for watching the video and taking the time to comment. I'm always open for questions or comments!

I'll be doing this exact same thing in May of 2025. From Austin to Seattle and then boarding Discovery!

Sorry, I didn't get notification of your comment for some reason. I really enjoyed this cruise and the flight to Austin was easy. That's great and I like your itinerary better than mine! You get Glacier Bay instead of Endicott Arm (which was still great) and Ketchikan on the return trip instead of first. I like that better. We stayed at the Hotel Nexus north of downtown just off of I-5 on Northgate Way. Nothing fancy but it worked. Thanks for watching the video and commenting...more on the way from the cruise.
